Wow! I am pleasantly surprised at how good these bakery products are. I had an Oreo brownie, a “rye” bread, and breadsticks. They were all delicious without that terrible gummy texture that supermarket gluten free products often have.

As someone who can't eat gluten (and is now struggling with dairy sometimes as well) I absolutely love this bakery. They have 2 locations (and maybe a 3rd) on Long Island. The food and desserts are quality, and my partner who has a tree nut and sesame allergy has been safe to eat from here as well. They have both meals and baked goods, and the baked good are DELICIOUS. Whenever I'm in town, I go to grab something tasty.

Lovely bakery with many fresh options. I especially enjoyed their gluten free bagels.

THE BEST gluten free bagel I’ve ever had. Because they’re 100% gluten free they make them in house (a lot of other local places just offer an Udis bagel) and they’re actually boiled with that crisp outside and chewy inside. I live out of town but when I’m visiting, I go here every morning it’s that good. Cinnamon sugar is my favorite. I always forget to take photos until I’ve devoured half the bagel.

Cute little place... was curious. The brownies weren't bad; but I wasn't blown away by them. They have a variety of Vegan items as well as for people who have Lactose Intolerance. They seem to be busy in bursts. I didn't try anything else, so I can't judge further!

Great bakery with lots of bread/pastry/lunch/dessert options! I am a Celiac and this place has been a great find on LI when I come in from the city. A lot of the reviews below complain about prices, it's clear these reviewers either don't have to be GF for health reasons and/or have no idea the price for GF goods in NYC. The prices are normal/below prices in the city plus I can grab myself a great sandwich along with my baked goods. If you don't have to eat GF, don't leave a bad review over prices, you have plenty of other gluten options you can find that fit your price range. The bakery also has DF/Vegan options as well. Their vegan cakes taste just as good as the standard GF options. When I'm on LI I'm making it a point to head here to stock up!

Going gluten-free and dairy-free has been really challenging, but Bare Naked has made it much easier. I typically order bagels, sugar cookies, and muffins. The muffins are pretty good, but in my opinion, nobody else I’ve tried can top Bare Naked’s GF/DF bagels and vegan sugar cookies; those two items are truly outstanding for a GF/DF/nut-free/vegan bakery. Some people in these reviews have complained that their items were stale. What I like to do is call the bakery 20 to 24 hours in advance and place an order for pickup. By doing this, the items are baked fresh for me the morning I pick them up. I’ve definitely noticed a difference in quality between stuff I order in advance and stuff I spontaneously purchase from them, so I definitely recommend this approach. Lastly, after trying several different GF/DF/vegan bakeries that offer a similar assortment of items, I can safely say that Bare Naked’s prices are market-rate—especially for the NYC-metro area, of which Long Island belongs. The bakeries I know in Manhattan and Brooklyn that provide similar items are similarly-priced to Bare Naked. Additionally, I have tried similar bakeries in Philly and the Philly suburbs (where I went to school) and their prices were only slightly cheaper despite being located in a much cheaper metropolitan area. The bottom line is that these kinds of bakeries are inherently expensive because of the skill required and the ingredients used to produce these items. I’m also on a tight budget, so I understand the frustration regarding the prices—but, if you’d like to indulge once in a while (like I do), this bakery is a great place to splurge at.

My fiancée has a super sensitive GI tract and wheat tends to cause her a lot of distress. It’s hard finding desserts and overall bread-y foods that she can enjoy without feeling pain twenty minutes later. This spot was an absolute winner. The desserts taste like and have the texture of regular deserts instead of that grainy feeling some gluten free desserts tend to have. I didn’t even realize the panini I ordered was gluten free too (all products are) cause it just tasted like a regular panini. The prices are a little “higher” than a regular bakery but that’s to be expected with gluten free products. Coming from NYC, they’re cheaper than most prices we have here for a regular bakery anyway.

This bakery is such a lovely find! I am so happy that it’s close to our new home. Yes the prices are high but I think that’s what you get when you have excellent quality specialty products! I’ve had so many GF desserts before due to my food intolerances - I gotta say the brownies were one of the best GF ones I’ve ever had, the chocolate chip cookies are absolutely the best GF ones I’ve had, the cupcakes were fantastic. Both my husband + I were shook over how the gluten free breads tasted nearly identical to its gluten-heavy counterpart. Can’t wait to come back!

My go to for allergy free GF or vegan cakes. They have delicious cookies and creative cakes. The staff and owner are very sweet. You can taste the love in every bite. If you happen to sit for lunch or a coffee you will be surrounded by cute decor. 10/10
