The Beef Barn

I got 2 roast beef sandwiches. I asked for horseradish, onions and pickles. I was not impressed with how anything looked. They gave me actual horseradish, not the sauce/mayo. So be aware if you order that. They gave me a slightly sliced pickle in a drippy bag. The sandwich was super well done, and did not look appetizing. The flavor was surprisingly good though. I don't think I would go back, there's plenty of better roast beef places.

This place was BY FAR ,ONE of the BEST, TOP NOTCH RESTAURANTS. The place is spotless, the decor is beautiful, it's antiqued of the past, and how things used to be. Our waitress Michelle was EXCELLENT!!! She was friendly but yet professional, she also provided prompt service. Our food was done and served in under 5 mins. Nice quick service but did NOT rush us out the door like other places do, in fact she told us to relax and take our time. Lastly, she frequently stopped to ask if we needed anything, and how our meal was. It's not often nowadays, to get that great of service from someone especially so young, where the food is excellent and very very cheap, you will be SHOCKED at how low the prices are. My husband and I BOTH had our own meals with soda, our total cost was ONLY 13$. I thought it was wrong bc it was so cheap...The bill was so cheap, and the service was so good and the food was awesome we actually left her $23 , WELL worth it to have an enjoyable, friendly, cheap, tasty, comfy meal cooked perfectly and served with a genuine smile...

I grew up on Providence St by the N Smithfield Beef Barn. This was like a trip back in time, char broiled cheeseburger , fries served in a paper basket. All restaurants should take note, quality and consistency is the key to longevity. Want make a restaurant last 50 years, find something that works and keep doing it ..the same way, over and over. Just like I remember it, I'll be back...it won't take me 40 years next time, cheeseburger, fries and a coke $8.50!

Beef Barn is the BEST restaurant value in the area. 2 people can eat here and get great food for $20! I love this place. The food is consistent and the waitresses are friendly and knowledgeable. The food arrives quickly and is hot and well-prepared! You can see cooks working in an open kitchen - the burgers are flame broiled. The desserts are wonderful and the fries are crispy and fresh. I’m consistently amazed at the prices. I couldn’t make it for less at home!
