I've been a member of the co-op and been shopping here since 2002. I absolutely love the carefully selected products in the store. The produce is literally the best in the ham! Same with the wine/beer & bulk sections. The staff are some of the most friendly people ever! The coop is a great establishment that I will always shop at!!!

I'm here to give a thumbs up to your delicious new take and bake spinach manicotti... yummy! I had a crazy workday yesterday and was hungry late and wanted something reasonably wholesome without a lot of effort. I'm having it again for dinner tonight... my happy timer will beep in about 18 minutes. I shop the co-op for many specific things I know I can't find easily elsewhere and have been a loyal customer for going on 12 years. Thanks for all the great products you stock and your fantastic in-house fare.

This is one of my favorite local stores in bellingham. The selection of healthy/natural/organic skin care and cosmetics is everything you could hope for and more. I especially love the bulk section of soaps, lotions, laundry detergent, dish soap, natural body wash, and also they're wonderful selection of bulk tees, coffee, dried fruits, pasta and even honey and peanut butter ground straight from the peanuts! You will not regret shopping here. The employees are so friendly and they don't make you feel weird taking your time or when my card expires and I have to come back they never make you feel embarrassed or anything like that. The main reason they're getting five stars for me though, is when I was homeless and they had the upstairs sitting down area they would let me come in and use the microwave with food I brought in myself when I couldn't afford to buy it there and they would allow me to use their hot water, plates bowls cups silverware, and even plug my devices in to get a good charge so that I had everything I needed to be comfortable to sleep in my car for the night. Not once did they ever harass me even if I didn't have a dollar to spend for weeks at a time. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this place in the time that I was living in my car and I'm eternally grateful to them. They really are doing this community a huge service! Shop local as much as you can! It's so worth it in the long run even if it costs a bit more and honestly their prices really are pretty great compared to other places of this type!

This is one of the two Community Co-op stores in town (the downtown one, obviously). It's mostly what you'd expect from a co-op, but two things stand out: the beer selection, and the bulk goods. Both sections are _huge_, especially for a small little store like this. Oh, one other thing stands out: the people who work here are incredibly friendly. If you're accustomed to the Bellingham version of the Seattle Freeze, you'll be amazed at how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff here are.

This is my favourite grocery store!!!!!!!!! Great use of inferior space. They have a very good selection of health and wellness products. Love their initiatives with recycling and reducing waste. The company is attentive to details of how the place is run. You can see that they are passionate about what they do and what they believe in. Love the seating area upstairs too. Everything is designed with the consumers in mind. I wish we have a place like this in BC, Canada!

No dine-in restored yet; store is in full opperation; prices high; parking can be a challenge at peak times; looking more and more like a standardized retail store with fewer local, unique products I could not get anywhere else

Best grocery store in Bellingham! Friendly staff, beautiful produce, nice workspace above the deli.

Highest grocery prices in town, high quality products, top eco-friendly & organic selections. It appears that wealthy types are regulars. If you're like me where your budget for groceries is limited, you may enjoy some unique finds, such as exceptional deli salads, and banger breakfast and lunch buffets. It's too bad I can't shop here regularly. As we all know, organic and eco-friendly items tend to be more expensive. However, I am happy there are choices in town. Parking can be difficult.
