2 Moon Bbq

I randomly found Moon River cabins by searching for romantic weekend getaways in Iowa. The wife and I stayed for the weekend and it was great! The cabin was very clean when we arrived along with the grounds surrounding. Only "downsides" with our stay was the hot water did not last very long (understandable with minimal space for large heater), and pillows not very comfortable. Both did not impact our stay in any real way and will not keep us from returning. Most definitely will recommend to others 4.99/5

We have stayed in the same cabin back to back years now and it's amazing. This year we walked into new flooring a rearranged front room and a whole new bathroom. Just an amazing experience that left me totally relaxed, stress free and motivated to go back to work on Monday. My wife was happy and relaxed, and the dog's were asleep in the car before the cabin was out of sight. VERY WELL DONE! See you next year!

Moon river cabin didn’t disappoint! My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The cabin we stayed in was cute and quaint. The staff/owner at the B&B (sister property) we’re very nice and went out of their way to make us feel welcomed when we stopped by. The town is nice and your not that far away from Dubuque or Galena.

I would have given 5 stars if there were more trees or fence enclosing the property. I just did t like that you can see cars driving by. Otherwise from reservation made to checking out the people in contact with me were very friendly. I cooked a lot and the kitchen was a lot of help. Just make sure to bring your own kitchen supplies because the basics may not be enough for serious cooking. The view was half great for us because we stayed in River stone cabin and there was a view of the top of a house and an RV park. The cabin was warm and cozy when the electric fireplace was on. The windows open up to a nice breeze.
