This very casual dining restaurant was selected mainly for the outdoor seating, in addition to, my Indian food craving. Mise en place prep for beginning of week appeared to be done that morning, due to extreme temperatures over the weekend, so everything was made fresh. No vegetarian plate du jour that day. Flatbread dough was being shaped in the back of the kitchen. To compensate, we were given a complementary dessert. Slow burn from the lamb saagwala gravy went perfectly over grilled paneer. The mixed chutneys over 2 samosas cooled us down. I was very pleased with how accommodating the staff was. We got a 3.8% discount for paying with cash. Conveniently located across from 550 bus stop heading back to Seattle. Definitely worth another bus ride for a return visit.

Wow, someone recommended this place to me and I am so glad I tried them out. Some of the best Indian food in the area and although many places are good and charge you an arm and a leg in our gentrified region, this place offers a great quality and variety for cost ratio. I would definitely recommend trying them out. Both their vegetarian and meat options are delicious.

Sadly, they don’t do their lunch combo anymore. HOWEVER- Everything here is so tasty I can’t even complain.
Lamb rogan josh was so tender and flavorful. Chicken tikka had a perfect spice blend. Garlic naan is the way to go.
Reasonably priced, fast service restaurant. Will return.

My final verdict: Good and economical Indian place for takeouts.
Decent Indian place for late night. Place is not very clean. But if you don’t care about nice dining and experience etc its a good place for food. Dal Makhani is my favorite. Staff is good and serving is fast. Preferably order takeout.

A good place that has now become a trashcan. Nothing is clean - the kitchen looks like a place that had an earthquake with the dirtiest utensils that you would want everyone to see in an open kitchen concept. The tables are all disorganized with all kinds of open cardboard boxes and trash on them. Check out the restrooms too. I am surprised they are still operational. This used to be a go-to place for some delicious street style food. They lost it during the pandemic

We recently ordered catering from Cafe Bollywood and it turned out really good. We tried 4 different restaurants in the area and decided on this as soon as we ate the first bite. Malai Kofta had the same taste as we find in India and their Dal Makhani is one of the best in Seattle. The owner was also kind enough to lend us chafing trays for our event and also suggested us how to use burners to keep the food warm. I would totally recommend this place for good food and catering orders.

- Did not like it, oily food with no taste. You can get very good food at other restaurants nearby (if you can travel to crossroads you can better food).
- Attached images are part of a thali for to-go order, they have chef special on both veg and non-veg (they give whatever is available that day, no option to see it online), still neither tasted good.

Food used to be good here in the past. They are now heavily relying on Microwave To warm up precooked old food. I’d rather go to a local Indian grocery store and buy frozen packed food.
