They’re very rude. I walked in and stood at the counter for about 10 minutes and was ignored. I even tried to say hello? To one of the workers and got ignored.. I sent my male friend in and he was able to get the order right away since we had placed for pickup. The food wasn’t even good though either. Happy Ming in Bloomfield is 100x better and they’re not rude. Even the rice was bad here.

Very rude.... I walked in and the staff ignored me for about 5 minutes. I didnt know the lady was the cashier because she was just arranging silverware and ignoring me and the other man was on the phone, so I thought he was just busy. But she ignored me for a few minutes just looking at me occasionally until eventually another customer walked in and then she finally decided to acknowledge me... The order was placed ahead of time, so it should have been ready. After about 20 more minutes of waiting, I asked what was going on, and the order was ready, just sitting there. After I asked again, she finally gave it to me...

This is my favorite place for Chinese food. A typical order takes about 20 to 30 minutes to fill and this is because they are extremely busy. More importantly, it means the food they serve is always freshly made. I recommend the Specialties menu. The Tsien Chen Chicken is excellent!!

We have been ordering from China star for years (my family loves the food!) But the last few times I've gone, they always forget something. It is annoying to drive back and forth each way 10min to pick up whatever they've forgotten in the order. Today, they forgot food (again) so I called back and they apologized for missing it and said it would be ready to pick it up. I went to pick up and no one seemed to know anything about what I was talking about. Finally someone came over and brought the lomein, and then charged me for it (claiming i wasn't charged before). This is VERY annoying, especially since I went over the order twice with the person on the phone, called back (they confirmed it would be ready) and then now paying for a mistake that they made with the order? Ridiculous. I asked why it wasn't covered (since the person on the phone told me it was) and the cashier just shrugged. I won't be coming here any time soon- not with this type of customer service and the issues with the orders.

The food here is great! Not greasy or overly salty. Everyone who answers the phone is very friendly and the delivery is always on time and fresh. I usually order the pork friend rice and boneless spares ribs and they never disappoint!
