Solar Do Minho

I got together with some friends to get food and drinks. I have been here before but this is my first review. When I arrived I parked on the street nearby. I walked in and found my friend at the bar. We were served by Livia and she was very nice and attentive. We started with sangria and it was a little light and sweet so she added more red wine and that was good and also I had an espresso martini which was good. For my food I got the garlic shrimp and had that with bread. The shrimp was very good. The flavor melted in your mouth. My friend enjoyed their filet mignon. The bill was about $41 for myself. All in all we had a good experience.

I’ve been coming here for 20 years and will continue for another 20. One would figure a restaurant would lose a step or two and the quality would go down over the years, but nope, they just keep delivering wonderful food one time after the next. I’m glad to have Solar Do Minho so close. Its better than most places down neck without the aggravation of going there. Parking can an issue sometimes, but there’s a reason for it. Great food. The service is always great and the staff is always friendly. Good job guys!

This place is awesome. It’s my 2nd time here and I am never disappointed. The service is awesome- everyone is always checking in to make sure we are okay. The food is excellent. Each time I’ve come I’ve tried multiple items and they all taste so wonderful. The outdoor seating is really nice; from the table setting to the ambiance they didn’t miss a beat. This is a cute spot for large groups as well as couples and families. They are very accommodating and it is always packed. The sangria is also amazing at this place I would recommend it for the table. You know that it is the place to be. They do offer valet parking. If you choose to park your own car you make need to circle around one or two times but nothing crazy. I will be coming back here for sure. Our server Elvis was great!

The staff was pretty good and kept a watchful eye out for each person's need's in the group. The food was also great, as each one of us had something different. The atmosphere of this establishment was Terrific, also it appears that parking is a bit of a challenge, during certain hours. There is valet parking for those who would prefer it. My first time experience was a fantastic one. This place I highly recommend.

If you want to be wowed by the service, taste, portions and quality of food...look no further! This hidden gem is so worth the trip! This place was recommended by a friend. Driving to it is an adventure but once you are inside (they do have valet parking) you will not beleive it! Your taste buds will do a dance and your nose will carry the smell of smoked meats long after you leave. Make this your next tasty destination! A+++ P.S.
