Good for AmeriMex chain style food. In fact for the Bella Vista / SoMo area they’re the best with decent food, good service, large servings and moderate prices. I prefer authentic Mexican food and El Pueblito dabbles in more authentic dishes but mostly it’s burritos, chimichangas and other adaptations. I understand to stay in business they had to adapt to the local taste, but the food was far better when they opened. Here’s hoping as BV grows they will be able to return to the original recipes.

This place can sometimes be kind of a hit or miss. Don't order take out if you do any changes/substitutions to anything. They mess it up everytime. But if you are dining in, the food and service are pretty good! I get the baja taco with shrimp and no cheese and it's one of the best things I have ever tasted. It's delicious! And it's a nice mix up from the usual chicken chimichanga and such. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. Parking can suck sometimes because this place can get pretty busy. Buy all in all this is usual spot for us and enjoy ourselves most of the time! :)
