The place is beautiful, high ceilings, nice neighbours.
Pizza was ok, between the roman and the neapolitan, I really like that compromise.
Antipasti was also very good. Original italian spritz and what I liked more was the service: smiling workers always ready to take care of your needs.
You can feel here the huge differences with a chain (like peter pane, kind of mcdonald) and a real artisan restaurant like this one.
Definitely give it a try!
Papa Pane di Sorrento is a pizza lover's dream. The Neapolitan pizza here is a masterpiece – impeccable dough, vibrant tomato sauce, and incredibly creamy cheese that stretches like a dream. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the fantastic experience. This place is a gem for pizza enthusiasts seeking top-notch quality and a warm atmosphere.
It becomes hard to find in Berlin ordinary non-Neapolitan thin dough pizza. If you want simple tasty real Italian style pizza with fresh ingredients, you will like this place. A lot of different types of pizza, large, spacious hall.
The food is amazing. I had the best pizza 4 cheeses in this place.
We went without a reservation and managed to get a table in a matter of 15 minutes, but some other days others might not get so lucky. To eat inside is a bit loud, as the acoustics of the place are a bit too optimal for a restaurant, so I recommend you to eat outside if possible.
The service is great. They speak German, Italian, and English.
This is truly one of the seven best pizzas of Berlin.
Had a nice, authentic Italian dining experience here. The food was good. Generous portions and reasonably priced. The wait staff was more prompt and competent than other places I dined at in Berlin.
This was an excellent place to eat! The place itself is very nice, clean and comfortable, the service is good. We had 2 pizzas that were great. What i liked especially is that they are very generous and put a ton of topping on the pizza, compared to other places who always want to save money on ingredients. Taste was very authentic, so 5/5
Nice pizza, nice place to hang out with friends, friendly staffs, just a but pricey. One pizza was around 16€. We got a table even without reservation. But the last time I dined there, my pizza was slightly burnt.

Definitely make reservations in advance, particularly for dinner, specially for Friday.
Also for card payments, the amount should be above a certain threshold (I think €15).
Also wanna add that the owner is super friendly, nice and fun 😀

Papa Pane do Sorrento is probably one of the best Italian restaurants in Berlin.
Often crowded and busy, so I highly recommend making a reservation in advance; same day reservations often work.
They accept contactless or card payments as well as cash; however if you're dining as a group and wanna pay separately, and the place is crowded, the staff are usually in a rush 😀 which is understandable.
I was on this restaurant on a Friday evening with friends , it was pretty full on the outside when we arrived so we sat inside .
I ordered pizza vongole which unfortunately was too much aldente, especially that it was a thick spaghetti so I couldn’t enjoy it or eat all of it .
Otherwise my friends were very satisfied with what they had . Pizza Tonno was the best , awesome olives , good quality of Tuna fish and well spiced . Another friend took pizza scampi with tonno, also good and the other friend took penne arabiata.
As a desert , we ordered a mixed desert for 13.5 which had tiramisu , pans cotta and Creme caramel . It was a huge portion and very delicious . Another friend took the Souffle with vanilla Creme and also tiramisù.
So I totally recommend the pizza and the deserts !
If my pasta was not that Aldente, I would have have the restaurant a 5 star review .
Papa Pane is a culinary gem that transcends the typical dining experience.
Each dish is a masterpiece of flavor, embodying the true essence of Italian cuisine.
The commitment to quality is evident, with every item on the menu being homemade – from the richly aromatic teas to the exquisitely pure olive oil.
What truly sets Papa Pane apart, however, is the warm, refined hospitality. The owner and staff treat each guest with a rare blend of elegance and kindness, making every visit memorable.
This establishment is not just a restaurant; it’s a haven for those who appreciate fine food and finer company.
Deserving of more than five stars, Papa Pane is an unforgettable experience.
