Update: unfortunately, this restaurant permanently closed.
We have been wanting to try Beech Mt Grille for some time.
Boy were we not disappointed. We decided to get some food to go. The lady that answered was so nice and helpful. I was deciding about two different salmon sandwiches. Since the food would be traveling, she suggested the salmon on Texas toast as it would hold up better. I was leaning towards that anyway. I asked them to apply some blackened seasoning and it came with lettuce and tomato and onion and chips and a pickle. It was OUTSTANDING and DELICIOUS It was still hot when we got home. It gets messy about halfway through but I ate ever scrap. My husband got the barbecue sandwich and loved it.
We will be back. We r permanent residents and this will now be one of our go to restaurants!!

Good restaurant, but they were forced out of business. The town's long established elders & narrow minded locals will not and do not support new businesses or outsiders.
Simply, though the food was good, the locals would not eat here. As a result, the BMG had to close their doors for lack of steady year round business ... even though tourists loved their food and atmosphere.
Shame on you Beech Mountain.

We went to the Beech Mountain Grille on Saturday around 3:45. We sat in the 21+ area. The space was beautiful. I ordered the bbq plate and my husband ordered the meatloaf. The food came out really quickly, well before our salads were finished. We were honestly shocked at the prices compared to the quality. Both the macaroni and cheese and the hashbrown casserole were bland, and the four inch piece of meatloaf my husband ordered was completely raw in the middle. The waitress was nowhere to be found and eventually the bartender saw our empty drink glasses and came over. We explained the meatloaf was raw and he told us he was going to go "zap it." The microwaved boiling hot remains sitting in a plate full of grey grease was a far cry from an $18 piece of meatloaf. Two stars because the space really was amazing.

The hash brown casserole is excellent, the sauteed spinach is the best, he baked Brie with Granny Smith apples and honey was wonderful. Next time I'm only getting those items. The food was so plentiful I brought more than half my meal home.

I cannot rave enough about The Beech Mountain Grille located at the top of Majestic Beech Mountain. I was greeted by the owner herself and treated with a list of homemade soups, entrees, and desserts. What a delight that many of the recipes are handed down. I had the meatloaf...wow...Perfection. Moist and seasoned perfectly. For dessert I tried the owner's homemade carrot cake. There is not an adjective worthy to describe it.

Impressive! Really cool menu and environment the food was even better! We’ve been on this mountain for a long time and restaurants come and go I sincerely hope this one stays around. The diversity of the menu is so unique and delivering on all of those expectations is amazing!

Wife and I stopped in for a beer, and had a great time talking to the owner/bartender, while enjoying beers from the local brewery (see photo). If we hadn't been so full from lunch in Boone, would have sampled their good looking menu --- and we will next trip to Beech Mountain. Looking forward to trying their Sunday Brunch!

Great food for a reasonable price. Wonderful place for kids/families or group of friends. Service is spectacular, the owners are exteremly nice, friendly, and prompt. Food reaches the table quickly, and tastes fresh and like it is prepared with care. Best restaurant in the area, highly recommend.

So delicious! And the views! The food was great, we ate an early dinner and had the whole restaurant to ourselves for a while. You can see the slopes from the giant windows. The staff was friendly and recommend some family recipes that are on the menu. I highly recommend it!
