What delightful surprise. I love Italian quisine. I have been to some of the best Italian restaurants here and abroad. My gold standard is Patsy's on West 56th in NYC. The Trattoria Mediterania is Patsy's in NJ. The food, all fresh and homemade, and service were phenomenal and the reason it definitively deserves our 5 stars.

To say Trattoria Mediterranea was delicious would be an understatement. The service was extremely attentive, especially our server Francesco- he was amazing! Anita's desserts were delectable!! Overall rating 10/10!!

Food was very fresh and homemade tasting. There were 8 of us, got apps, entrees and desserts. Everyone loved everything! Wait staff was very attentive to our party of 8. Very lively atmosphere, a bit noisy but very comfortable.

Absolutely love this place! The food and staff are phenomenal. Whether you order fish, pasta or meat, every dish is delicious and prepared to perfection. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The staff makes you feel welcome and comfortable.
