Now known as Nazaar, it’s on the Bedford high street (not sure why it’s still called Skewer?!). Anyway… service, outstanding, food was insanely good!!!! I loved every bite of my meal and I know my friends loved theirs too. Was manic, and constantly busy, which was great to see. Highly recommend booking way in advance.

Bingo😍😍😍 Love The Skewer lounge / Nazar Restaurant ... The new interior seriously looks amazing. A mesmerising menu, with enough choices to satisfy the most adventurous. Amazing Starter menu - HOT MEZE PLATTER - halloumi cheese,beef sausage, falafel,calamari and sigara boregi 🧆 🤩🤩🤩. The main courses were truely best - 1. SARAM CHICKEN BEYTI 2. MIX GRILL 3. ALI NAZIK CHICKEN 🍗4. ALI NAZIK LAMB🥩 The tenderest kebabs I've ever tasted. Will be back again soon.

At the beginning we were a bit confused as the name these days seem to be the Nazar Lounge, at least that is what it says outside. Inside the menu still says The Skewer Lounge. Delicious Turkish food, quite decent portions, options for vegetarians and good service. We had a great evening!

Look no further for delicious Turkish cuisine. My husband and I enjoyed our dinner immensely. Everything was absolutely perfect from the ambiance, the young man who waited on us and ofcourse the food. Thank you.

My wife, Donna, and I found The Skewer by chance and we are ready glad we did. We were treated with a friendly smile, given a great table and served with politeness and fun. The food was fantastic, beautifully cooked and presented. The restaurant is classy and comfortable. The prices are what you would expect for great food and drink. We even had a brilliant conversation about our favourite Rock bands.
Thoroughly recommend this great restaurant.

Really amazing spot. Food was so on point, especially the lamb ribs and my babe had chicken bayti . I strongly recommend it. Pasher was really friendly as well. Nice and attentive staff members.

Lovely refurbished establishment from before. Interior is very posh and luxe. Only thing was music was way too loud so having dinner with friends you really need to shout over the music.
Otherwise food was delicious, definitely recommend the mocktails! Service was good initially but as the place started filling up, our party of 3 were somehow neglected as had to ask 4 times to get a jug of water and order our desserts! Will probably go back but not too soon as still nursing the sore throat from shouting over the music.
