First time visit, and really liked the selection of wines, as well as the cheese and charcuterie board. Staff (incl. owners) are really nice, and clearly love their wine. Range available for both purchase as well as drinking in-house, was superb, with plenty of labels not easily found on supermarket shelves.

Rob created an amazing set of bottles (1 fizz, 2 whites and 2 reds) for a New Year wine challenge with friends. He covered the bottles so we could drink blind with tasting notes and details for us to read after. All the wines were delicious with the silky smooth New Zealand Pinot Noir and oaky fruity English Chardonnay as stand out favourites. Highly recommended wine bar and sommelier.

I have been going to the Blue Glass for ages when it was just a wine shop. Best selection of wines, at good prices. The best thing about the Blue Glass was their knowledge of the wines. The staff saved many a meal at my house helping me choose just the right wine to cook with or serve with whatever I was preparing. I always appreciated going in and saying, "I am making....what would go nice with it?" I always got a thoughtful and spot on answer that was within my price range. Now that the Blue Glass has a wine bar attached, I am a regular. Being able to go to wine tasting events really gives the chance to try things and broaden your horizons in the wine world. Whenever friends are in town this is the place we always take them for a nice meat and cheese board and the pick of the wines! Town centre is made a bit classier thanks to the Blue Glass. I cannot love it enough!

This place is fantastic and just what Bedford needed. Could do with more places like this there! We had a lovely lunchtime visit here with a glass of wine and a sharing board. Great service, friendly staff and an upmarket, chilled-out atmosphere. Great selection of wines to buy too. The manager even ordered in a wine especially for me which I'd enquired about.
