Second Cup Coffee Co. Featuring Pinkberry Frozen Yogurt

I went in to get some drinks for my family and they refused to serve me because I am unable to wear a mask . They did not respect my disability or the law . They said it was store policy which means nothing in the violation of human rights . All mandates are dropped in less than 48 hours I find the common sense somewhat lacking here

They just completed renovations on this location, so there is all new equipment, seating, and signage. They have also added on a Slow Bar where you can get pour over coffee. As nothing else has changed staff- or ownership-wise, this location of Second Cup is still the best place on this end of Bedford to get a nice cup of coffee (specialty or otherwise).

The coffees at Second Cup are always delicious. Anytime I visit Sunnyside Mall, I am tempted to stop at the cafe for a flavourful beverage. My one critique is that the mobile app seems not to be updated with the same information that the baristas receive. My last iced coffee was not made the way the mobile app described. Don't get me wrong, the coffee was still very good, just not prepared how the app read. I discussed the discrepancy with the barista, who was very friendly. She mentioned that the recipe that I showed her on the app is different than what they were told in the cafe. So maybe better communication is needed. In any case, this cafe is worth trying. I will definitely return, as Cyndi Lauper might say, time after time. Cheers!

Fantastic staff, and great latte. But thats where it ends. The display case which houses what looks like only sweets no breakfast menu. Is dirty and disgusting. Looks like it hasn't seen a clean day in its life. Food crumbs on all the floors tables inside and out. And no room to move around during covid. You order and move along into a narrow pass way when they serve you your drink, but to get back out you have to cram past who ever else is there.. *update. It's still there the dirt on top the display case where they ask the customer what they would like theirs no not seeing it, and there are coffee rings all over their serving counter that have been there since Friday, you also have your own tables and such there.. which hasnt been cleaned today.. I work in the mall and have seen table go unclean for hours and hours on end.. people's unwanted food and drinks. Garbage setting there. Like I said I work very handy to the store. I have never once seen anyone through weekdays clean or sanitize anything. I have emailed the email you provided and no response.. I will not be recommending your store to anyone as of right now.. its really gross in there.
