Review Whole Foods Market - Bedford

I loved being able to go into this store and easily find what I wanted. The two times that I've had to return Amazon products to this location have been quick and painless. Also they have a very nice selection of cheeses in the back of the store.

First experience loved it loved it loved it would suggest anyone in the Bedford area to check it out I felt like a kid in a candy store as a foodie from the freshest produce to the meat and fish department the halibut with some blind the rib steaks aged rib steaks and their own glass case just magnificent I didn't want to leave unfortunately I couldn't stay long as as long as I wanted but I will be back very soon because I just can't get enough UPDATE ON 6/7/22 Went back again this past weekend and everything was good except for the young lady working in seafood. I asked her if she could cut me a fresh piece of halibut and she refused. I told her I only needed a 6 ounce piece and she said that I had to pick from one of the previous cut pieces that were much bigger than I needed. Because this rude girl refused to cut me off what I needed I was forced to buy a 12 ounce piece. Then I asked if she could skin it for me, and she rolled her eyes at me and said "I guess so' and when I got home my fish had NOT been properly skinned and I had to do it myself. It was a VERY Unpleasant experience and that girl needs some lessons in custom service and learning how to be polite to a customer

Only three 🌟 s for now because I have not fully explored the store. Having a Amazon drop box is great, though, not all of the employees know where it is. If pastries are a temptation you are trying to avoid, don't go here:) Smoothie bar, cafe and plenty of registers. Staff I met were friendly. I didn't buy anything so I have no opinion of the prices. Parking lot is busy. Update; February 2019: I had a chance to check out prices and they are higher than their competition, even with the ten percent discount from Amazon Prime. Fresh sandwiches, pizza, salads, tacos and other foods available. Update: Wednesday, July, 2020; Facemask required. Amazon locker entrance restricted. One entrance only. Friendly service. Wifi available. Still expensive prices, even with Amazon Prime discount.

If you want health, excellent product knowledge, consistent answers, manicured staff. Whole Foods is far and above any so called competition. Yes you pay...but you you will pay through you're health care system in you're "golden years" later. Look at those traditional chain stores, processed food from large big box distribution vendors. No it's not a wet market, but have you seen unsustainable fishing, endless slaughter houses, caged chickens, infiltrated goods from third world countries without FDA regulations. 55 years old and yes some stores are worth shopping, but through proper budget, a good life can be achieved by making better life choices. Proper research will save a "cell"through high nutrition standards.

Boutique store with boutique prices, but an excellent source for esoteric items like essential oils. Staff friendly and helpful

Flora did a wonderful job on my wedding flowers! The colors, variety of flowers, and longevity all exceeded my expectations. The cost was very reasonable too!

You're probably already familiar with Whole Foods' reputation as a source of reliably great (if expensive) produce and niche foods you probably won't find at Shaw's. But what you may not be aware of is they're also one of the leading purveyors of food that's rotten within 48 hours of getting it home! We recently attempted to use a chicken we bought just a few days ago, only to discover it had spoiled to the point of smelling like fish. And I've lost count of how many bags of shredded cheese have come home on Thursday only to have been found green and fuzzy on Saturday. It's a baffling experience I've never had with other stores in the area, doubly so given that many of their root vegetables could outlive the purchaser. But seriously, plan on using their meat and cheese within 48 hours or you're rolling the dice on whether it will still be usable at all.

Standard issued Whole Foods, clean and plenty of parking. Next to Trader Joe's a plus. Sadly they have permanently closed the restaurant/ bar they had.
