A great new sandwich shop. While their sandwiches in general are simplistic, the quality of the ingredients remind you that you don't need extra. The lettuce is crisp, the tomato slices are juicy and sweet, the paper thin onion slices are nice and stringy and add that contrast to whatever meat you decide to have in your sandwich although the correct answer is prosciutto. All the ingredients combined make a delectable sandwich. They have other offerings which I have yet to try. The staff are polite and professional. They are following Covid guidelines. Recommended.
This was by far the best sandwich I've had in years. The Street Bob was amazing, delicious with a hint of sweet. We will be returning with friends in the future. Truly a gem of bedford, pa.
I live in Philadelphia, so I eat a lot of sandwiches (hoagies). The two sammies I got from Nicks were without a doubt the best I have ever had. THE BEST. My boyfriend and I shared the Downtown (#1 fav) and the Street Bob (fancy amazing version of an Italian). If you stop here on a road trip, go here and nowhere else.
We are sandwich snobs and these were the best we've had! Each of us had a different sandwich and tried each others. We ordered the Street Bob, Boss Lady, Mr. Ray, and the Magnolia. The Street Bob was the unanimous favorite. Even my daughter who likes only ham and mayo, loved the Boss Lady with ham, brie, and cooked apples. Each had the right bread to meat ratio, not dry or soggy, and the condiments were perfect. The bread selection for each sandwich was also on point, with each being cooked just enough for crusty and warm insides, but not so crusty that you cut your mouth. Just delicious!
Do yourself a favor and stop in! There isn't any seating so be prepared for take out. If our travels send us this way again, we'll definitely be back.
Driving the turnpike and needed lunch. Decided to drive a quick 3 miles off our route to get something that was tasty, fresh, and support a small business. This sandwich shop was delicious! Highly recommend the Carnegie and the Farmers Market. We will be back!
My husband and I were just passing through town from our trip to New Germany State Park on our way home and stopped in to order a quick bite to go. We ordered the Magnolia sandwich! This was one of the best sandwiches I've had. Blows the traditional caprese out of the water! The basil pesto mayo, rosemary focaccia and arugula was SUCH a nice touch... truly delicious. I'm sure I'll be daydreaming about this sandwich for a while 😂 My husband and I decided to split the sandwich since it was a decent size, and it was a perfect lunch portion. We will definitely be back next time we are out this way! Staff was super nice and polite as well. What a treat 😊
Absolutely delicious!! My wife and I stopped for lunch time. It was the best sandwiches we have ever eaten. My wife got the Carnegie and I got the street bob. Now my wife doesn't like the type of meats on my sandwich but she absolutely loved it! The dressings on the street bob was divine! We will definitely be going back soon!
I'm an out of towner and decided to grab a quick sandwich at Nick's for lunch. WHOA! I was very impressed with the sandwiches. Such creativity and absolutely delicious! I had the Mr. Ray and the Street Bob. I might prefer the Bob just a little more because it was so flavorful, but both were amazing. The French baguettes were out of this world! I will come back again, I'm hooked!
