Review Moon Wok - Bedford

First time trying this place, wouldn't of complained if i didn't order the sushi. Beef and chicken combo fried rice was good, we also ordered two sushi rolls, shrimp tempura roll and a California roll. Both Rolls had the wasabi sauce touching the rolls 🤮 (pictured), both Rolls we're sorry, and they are the only reason I'm leaving this review. Don't know if there is a better sushi master there, but my wife and i love sushi and this was sad.

We had the family dinner for 2 + 1 more. The food was alright considering we only paid $40 for 3 entreees, 3 egg rolls, 3 crab Rangoon, and 3 soups (choice of egg drop, sweet/sour or wonton). The food was okay at best but would again for the value. The lo mein was like any typical lo mein, the sweet sour chicken was a little bland. The Kung Pao (not pictured) was slightly spicy and was okay as well.

I was so excited to try this place because they sell tofu meals since I'm vegan. But the food is soooo NASTYYYY we couldn't eat that and had to return it. We ordered the curry tofu and it was impossible to eat, it was like the cooked that with water from the ocean all you could taste was a bunch of salt , the rice is plain and super greasy they don't even mix it right it has white rice chunks all over it. And we also ordered the beef and broccoli and the same rice is so greasy it upset my stomach with just trying one bite of it. And the beef was all chewy and nasty. Don't come here if you don't like sea salt ocean food, and greasy food you will definitely get sick. I feel sick already with just trying a bite of it 😩

I picked this place because someone on nextdoor.com asked for Chinese food recommendations, and several people said to go here. Online ordering seems to be... offline. I think all the prices I found through Google Maps were reduced lunch prices. Dinner prices are higher, and huge amounts of food. I ordered by phone, my sister picked it up. Phone ordering was very goo. The lady seemed interested and more than just competent. She asked questions to make certain I got what I wanted, and I appreciate that a lot. Very good moo goo gai pan, broccoli shrimp, and crispy vegetable spring rolls. We forgot to ask for mustard. Hot & sour soup was hot & sour, but I won't order it again because it was not a type I like. Broth is very heavy and flavorful. If you like that or want to try a this style, do it! Including photos of menu picked up at the restaurant October 2021.

I placed an online order at 5:06 to be delivered at 6:30. It was confirmed via email. When it hadn't been delivered by 6:45, I called to check on it. I was told it was on its way. I called 3 more times and was assured it was "on its way", "would be there in 5 minutes." At 7:25, we finally received it. The receipt said the order was received at 6:45 and the driver confirmed that, meaning they didn't even start our order until I called to check on it. Food was good, delivery was horrible, customer service not great.

I ordered my standard sesame chicken and egg drop soup. I got steamed rice with the entree and it was cooked well. I thought the chicken was very good quality, but the chicken was very garlicky, and it wasn’t crispy at all. Soggy breading makes me sad. The egg drop soup was a little bland before I added the wonton strips. It was perfect after that though. I’ve been looking for a new Chinese takeout since my favorite place closed, I’ll be trying this place again.

This place used to be the go to for Chinese delivery. Not anymore! Last couple times bad experience. I placed a online order tonight at 7:09pm after over an hour I called to ask if it was on its way assuming they we're just busy. The person who answered said he would have someone call me back. After I received a call back placed on hold ect.... Another 10-15min was told the ticket did not print and would I like them to quickly get it made and delivered. I'm yes! No offers or no good apologies. Not to mention it was a $73 prepaid order with a $7 tip. SMH last time I order there.

A little overpriced for value. Food really lacks the Chinese notes/flavors. Fried rice tests boiled / steamed at best and lacks basic flavors that come with a Chinese fried rice. General Tsos chicken was mushy soggy light watery lacking the crunchiness of the sauce is as with close to authentic Chinese cuisine texas style.
