Review Jibaritos' Restaurant - Bedford

Two stars because the food is great but we went Sunday and the service unfortunately not good. Although the woman was nice she was alone and never entered our order. Then when she realized it she said she couldn't find where she wrote it and asked us after 30 to 45 min of waiting to order again since she forgot to put it in. I think instead of using random paper to write orders it would help if they had ordering note pads to write everything down that way its not scribbled mixed with other orders.

Chicken that was served to me tasted as though it was cooked a couple of days ago and then heated up in the microwave and served to me. The rice barley had any flavor and the waitress barley came to check on us. The only good thing we had was the empanadas. They had a really good flavor and the dipping sauce that came with it was excellent. We probably won't return due to customer service and quality of food.

The food is actually delicious. The mojitos tasted like lemonade and nothing more. We never got our alcapurrias for appetizer. The food took a long time. By the time the food came out I was ready to go since I never even got asked if I needed another drink. I don't blame staff as there was one waitress and one person in the kitchen. Dirty tables around. That is my last visit and its a shame because the food is good.

Poor customer service. If you are hungry, don't go to this restaurant. We waited a while in the lobby area and no one came to sit us down. We even saw another couple who had been sitting complain and my 7 year daughter said: mom, are you going to wait like them. Thank goodness we went to our car and called Adobo and in 15 our food was ready. We wanted to help out local people, but you need customer service to maintain a restaurant.

What an experience here!!! Came to eat good food, ended up with salty food. First I will start with the waiter...can someone tell me why this waiter looked like she was taking out of the streets got into rehab and didn't last a day? Anyway, everything was good I was having a good time, place looks good and clean, music is on point and drinks were exquisite (very expensive by the way)and then the food comes....it was supper salty I felt like I was in one of the beautiful beaches in Puerto Rico eating the sand. Asked to speak to the manager (never touched the food again, plates are intact) and she doesn't want to come to me and fix the issue instead she calls the cops assuming I was going to leave with out paying and I had asked politely for an exchange of plates, mind you have come here to eat before and never has this happened to me. The cops come in and tell me I have to pay and I was confused I never said I wasn't going to pay, anyway she gives me the receipt and my receipt says $150.00 WAIT WHAT!! MA'AM first of all I did NOT touch that food and second I did not say I wasn't going to pay and you called the cops? Like this chic is crazy and how are you not going to go to the table to talk to a consumer? Whether it is for an exchange of plates or for a discount or maybe just to give you feedback of your cook, chef or crackhead you should always come to your consumer. I got recommended to go and I will recommend people not to and that's a chain honey.

Really this puerto rican/latin food, the torta cubana was rocking, the fries were perfect the shredded beef inside was pretty much fall a part in my mouth. The mofongo was great in taste just served different than what I've had in Puerto Rico or new York but the flavor is spot on, so was the fried pork. Not the safest place during Covid since the waiter hardly wore a mask and it's a small enclosed location, but take out for sure.

Always love this place. I’ve ordered it on door dash and it’s not the best. I’d recommend dining in. Authentic Puerto Rican food that’s reasonable.

I went to the restaurant and after 15mn the restaurant playing Reguetton music, we requested Salsa music to be play and they reply that only reguetton from a radio station is played and my request could not be granted because Salsa is not part of the repertory. After 1 hour waiting on my meal the food was nothing as us puertoricans cooks their food. If I could give a -5 it would be right. Food is terrible. After talking to the american "chef" he told us that was the recipe given to him. Really we (3 of us) couldn't eat the food. If you want to waste your money then go, I would not recommend this place. It was a waste of my money. Mofongo was something like mangú. The salsa criolla on the shrimp it was literally pizza sauce. People on my party ordered carne guisada and it was like a soup; no color, watery, no spices, a disaster. Honestly it was a disappointment. Look at the pictures below. Floor was dirty and slippery.
