Buffets are always a mixed bag. You know what to expect, for the most part. With HomeTown let's start with cost. For the quality, I'd say it's high. Especially for food that has been pawed over by the patrons (literally, that guy just shoved his hand right in the chips). Drinks are cheaper at fast food, and the carved meat section is all dry. Next up, cleanliness. While dining, a woman spilled a drink. The staff chose to clean it by taking a rag first to the FLOOR, second to the COUNTER, and then over their shoulder. They sprayed glass cleaner on the glass over the food, not on the rag first. They also don't flip the food containers when refilling. The tables are gross, and their is food on the backs of most of the chairs and on the napkin holders. Overall, it won't kill you, but I'm surprised this place passes most of it's health department inspections.

I think it's kind of funny that people complain about the quality of the food at this place. The cost of dinner is about $12 and they seem to be expecting the same quality that you'd get at the Ritz-Carlton. You really cannot complain about something being a little dry or a touch bland when you're getting all you can eat for $12. Personally, I think it's a great place to load up on protein after a great workout. All the chicken, beef, and pork chops I can handle. Works for me.

Saturday and sunday breakfast is the best...they have an omlet station where you can request it to be made they way you like. They have ice cream. Lots of room to seat and lots of different food. They have a taco sation and salad station and has a icee machine and dessert area. They have family night thursday where the kids eat for $1.99.

I know buffets are not the cleanness and you get what you pay for but damn. When I get a drink and there are big chunks of food particles in my drink coming out of the drink dispenser which in my case sweet tea. This made me leave asap. And that's just the little one I didn't take out. There was a much larger particle I decided to take out.

I don't think I've ever been more disappointed to spend $10 on an all you can eat. The quality of food was abysmal.

So bad. Wish it was like it used to be. Its so nasty now. Need new staff members immediately. I foresee foreclosure.

We hadn't been here for years and just decided on a whim to go once day while we were out. My grandmother had fried chicken (which she said didn't have too much meat on it), the mashed potatos and gravy, chicken and dumplings (which was more like a pot pie but instead of crust on top small biscuits) and a few other thing. She said everything was really good. I had the roasted chicken (very moist), the rolls, baked cod (I think), and a few other things as well. Nothing was bad by any means. I wouldn't mind going back some time. Everything was very clean and I watched them refill several items while we were there as well. My ONLY complaint: Not all the food items were labeled as to what they were. There were a few dishes that looked good but I didn't try them because of this. It was about $10 a piece for both of us without drinks.

Not as good as it was 10 yrs ago. Prices are a bit high for the quality of the food. The Salad bar was my favorite area. They had a great selection for a green salad. So I had a salad and chicken and a couple of veggies. The desserts were delicious! Very disappointed in the meat bar.
