J.a. Pho

I started going here when the restaurant was in a different location. I went back and to my surprise, the restaurant was no longer there. I was devastated! This food is so delicious, so flavorful, and the prices are great for the amount of food you get. I was driving in to the strip mall where Mai Pho is now. So I took a chance. Went in and low and behold, it was my favorite girl from the old location! I am so glad to see her!! 🤗😋🍚🥢🥡 I will follow this woman wherever her restaurant goes!!

It was our first time there and we will definitely be back (with friends & family)!! The bubble tea was excellent with the pearls having the perfect texture. The brisket pho was so tender with just the right amount of fat and the soup was very complimentary to the meat with just a hint of sweetness. The crab puffs are awesome!! And served with sweet chili dip with just the right amount of kick. Vegetarian pho was excellent!! The tofu was crispy, veggies had just the right amount of firmness.

The space certainly is unique, having formerly been a taco del mar or similar location. The pho is as some others have commented not overly salty, but well flavored. The noodles are a little more stuck together in a ball at the bottom than I normally like, I had to work them apart a little more than normal. The salad rolls were good but lacked mint and the lettuce was a little under crisp for my taste, the peanut sauce is good not overly sweet. Decent price for the money, I've been here a few times and ordering the beef meatballs can sometimes disappoint as the are not always heated all the way through. Bathroom key with burnt spoon was just too funny not to post as well.
