Starbucks

Starbucks from Seattle to Orlando are all reliably tasty. This location has friendly staff, but is organized with uncomfortable furniture designed to encourage a quick turnaround time for customers. Due to their high volume, you might have a hard time finding a good place to sit down with friends. The Covid-19 layout doesn't feature seating (per company procedures) but doesn't offer an efficient pathway to getting your drinks and maintaining distance.

This location is the closest to my house and my daughters and I use to visit here almost every Friday before school. The past year I had two different bad experiences that made me realize it's not the place for me. I now just go to one of the other nearby coffee shops or drive to a further Starbucks. Both bad experiences had to do with me ordering ahead through the app. I always order before I leave my house and give it a good 10 minutes before attempting to pick up bc this is a busy location. The first first bad experience I arrived at the store, went to check-in and the woman at the counter said it wasn't ready yet (totally fine and normal). I waited for a while and saw many people come and go. I noticed a bag that had been sitting there awhile and walked over and took a closer look. I asked what the name on the bag was and she said my name. I told her that was mine and I'd been waiting for 10 minutes and it had been there all along. She looked embarrassed but also flustered so I just left and chalked it up to someone overwhelmed. The second time, probably a few months later, I ordered ahead again and went in to pick up. I checked in and it wasn't ready (again, normal and it was busy). The woman at the counter seemed to be more of a manager level and was very efficient at moving things around and seemed to know all the Ubereats drivers very well and gave them very good service. I waited for about 15 minutes and went back up to the counter and pointed to a drink and bag that had been sitting there since I arrived. I told her I think that is mine, the name was correct. I told her I had been waiting there for 15 minutes and she said "well, you need to check in". I told her I did check in and she said "well, I didn't hear you." Okay, she did not care. I suggest not buying from this location unless you order through a food delivery service.

During an Uber order not only did they serve every single person in the store before me after waiting 10mins with nobody so much as looking me in the eye they turn around and strongly push the customers order to me and the bag falls over. Than they had the nerve to give me the he driver a bad rating on Uber. So hands down avoid them at all costs if picking up ordering or even just personal use. Very bad communication skills very bad attitudes not at all what I look for in a coffee shop wouldn’t spend my money here ever. Would rather drink dirt.
