While in the Navy, I was introduced to gyros while visiting Greece. I fell in love with this sandwich. I've been going to Chicago Gyros and Dogs for many many years. I recommend this restaurant to everyone wanting a traditional gyros without the trip to Greece.
This is the best Gryo I have found in Dayton, and the closest Italian beef sandwich to what you have in Chicago. The staff is nice and a pleasure to go there. I highly recommend!!! Wish there was a Chicago Deli closer to North Dayton.
Awesome food !!! I really like this place. Burgers, hotdogs, gyros, and fries of all types. If it's not on the menu, they will make it to your liking. Counter service ordering, but they bring it out to you when it's done.
An Italian sausage, a chili cheese hot dog, Philly style gyro, colby bacon cheese fries, bacon cheeseburger with fries, and 3 drinks was $40.
The parking can get limited due to this business being located in a strip mall. On weekends it's easy to find a parking spot, during the week it can get kind of hard.
The folks taking my order were polite and easy - going. The food was hot , fast, and fresh. The seating area was clean.
Unique and varied menu. Lots of Greek options. Gyro was excellent, probably a half pound of meat easily, so bring your appetite. Great fries that appear fresh cut. Food came out fast. Decent prices, maybe a touch high but worth it for good, local food.
A surprising gem so far away from Chicago. We were visiting our son, after having relocated to North Texas from the Chicago area. Everything was spot-on Chicago style. Tried both the dogs and the Gyros, and it was like being back in Chicago. Highly recommend this place. It will be a must-visit location every time we go back to the area.
I’m very particular about salads. I was VERY impressed with the Greek salad with gyro meat. The salad was bursting with fresh chopped romaine. It was fresh and crisp. The meat was so tender and flavorful. I was pleasantly surprised. The fresh cut fries were and hot and delicious! Their tzaziki was the best I’ve had. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

Definitely will return.. This food was so good. We tried so many styles this was for two people we didn't eat it all in that sitting the menu was just so loaded we ordered items for late. We even had two Gyros but forgot to get a picture to show you guys how great they looked. The lady that checked us out was great!!!!! It was clean and the service was friendly. Everything came out great.

I just love their Chicago dog, not many places in the Dayton Ohio area make them. My hubby loves the Italian Sausage Sandwhich. We both love their French fries, they are really good.
