LOVE this place is amazing she takes her time and everything is fresh. its the closest youll get to be in korea. she has a sweet personality and she cooks everything from scratch made to order
I absolutely LOVE this place! The food is excellent, I mean, absolutely excellent! On top on that, the owner is the sweetest lady you will ever meet and cooks all the food herself. The owner and waiting staff can make or break an establishment, and she definitely makes it!
Super nice people. Very welcoming and warm. Food was delicious. Kimbop was excellent. Wide range of items. Sampled everyone's and had 4 types of kimchi.

First let me say, I would definitely go back, the food was good. But let's be honest folks, the place is a dump. I was there in the winter, and there was no heat, and it was beyond chilly inside. The place is pretty dusty overall there was plastic covering the walls by the booths, not sure if they were remodeling or what, but I think not. The saving grace was the food was good and the owner was nice. The ambiance is half the fun.
AMAZING food. The hours are actually closed at 8, not 10 like the site shows. Me and my friends showed up after a 2 hour drive from Erie at around 8:05. The owner still opened her doors to us and cooked us dinner! The dishes were amazing, we had several dinner dishes and all of it was amazing. Very authentic and true home korean cooking! One of our travelers had a bad stomach ache and the owner was so kind to make him a light soup not even on the menu and made him feel much better! This place is fantastic, a true gem. On top of the food the owner is a treasure all on her own, very gracious, and gifted with her cooking. Will be back many times with many friends.
Great Food. Great food at an amazing price made to order by a really nice lady. Worth the drive from Cranberry! We will definitely be back to this unique little Korean BYOB.

Amazing!. As a student at Geneva College, I go to Chong's a couple of times a week. Chong is a great lady, and even if the food was terrible, I would keep going back for her great personality. But no, the food is actually spectacular, and creatively tailored around each customers taste preferences. Chong and her son Richard would be happy to explain any of the items on the menu and can also tone down or up the level of spiciness for your specific dish. I will keep frequenting Chong's until graduation, and will be more likely to come back to visit the restaurant than my own college.

Really good food, I would highly recommend. There is essentially one women working there so it is best to call ahead and give her some time. She wasn't there yet when I first called but she called me back to take my order. Definitely worth the wait.
This food is so good! I highly recommend eating here. The kimchi isn't extremely spicy which is good for those who can't handle a lot of spice. I personally love spicy food though so this was perfect.
If you're getting take-out, you need to park in front of the store as Ms. Chong kindly informed me. She is very nice and a wonderful cook!

The food is beyond excellent but she is really inconsistent with when she is open and if you go there with more than one order it throws poor Ms Chong into a tizzy and she yells at you to call next time.

This place is pretty authentic. I lived in Korea for two years. But the food is a little too greasy.
One of my favorite restaurants. I've been raving about it to everybody for over a year. My family just got take out from there for the first time and they absolutely loved it.
Ms. Chong is super kind and has kept me happy and full through many semesters. The meals are big, prices are low, everything is fresh. Could not recommend it enough.
Call ahead, especially if you plan on ordering a lot of food or dining in, though it's currently take out only in spring 2020.
Authentic Korean dishes . Very nice lady! The serving of meat is big, 2 people can share it, lots of delicious vegetables and steamed rice! The best Korean food I ever tasted in Pittburgh ! I love the bulgogi, kimbap and beef bibimbap! Try it, you will not be sorry. She gave me extra kimchi! Thank you
