Beaver Creek Chophouse

Want lousy food and comparable service ? Go to the Beaver Creek Chophouse. Among a party of seven, my wife and I ordered a shrimp cocktail each. Everyone else ordered more elaborate dishes. Their food came out, our shrimp cocktails did not. I asked the waiter where our food was. No response. I spoke with the manager. No excuse. When one shrimp cocktail finally came out, it was two shrimps on a plate. The excuse: their waiters were unable to serve a real shrimp cocktail in a cocktail glass without spilling it. Were we told they had changed the format of this item when we ordered ? No. Thankfully, the Chophouse has no control over the weather, or they would screw that up, too. STAY AWAY from the Chophouse. Absolutely fantastic! The Beaver Creek Chophouse is the perfect spot to enjoy some exquisite comfort foods and signature cocktails! It is located on the edge of Beaver Creek, facing the ski slopes. The interior decor is modern & trendy, but the patio has incredible views of the mountains, ski slopes, and creek. Their Crispy Pork Belly Sliders are incredible, the mac-n-cheese is unparalleled, and the Peach Salad is unique & delicious. The best thing on the menu is the PBJ+C cocktail!! It LITERALLY tastes like a chocolate peanut butter & jelly sandwich. Oh, and the service is great too!

Visited the Chophouse this past winter and was ignored by two foreign girls behind the bar for quite some time while they chatted with one another. Upon trying to get their attention which seemed to extremely inconvenience them they were both extremely rude, unhelpful, and inattentive throughout the rest of our visit. However, the food was tasty and arrived quickly - we got a ribeye and the seabass which tasted amazing for being in the middle of the Rockies. We visited a different time and an older gentleman named Eddie and younger girl were working who were rays of sunshine in comparison to our last visit. As patrons who frequent the Chophouse I hope they do a better job choosing staff who don't look and act utterly miserable.

YUM! Beaver Creek Chophouse was a perfect lunch after a long hike. Our waitress was very kind and had a few laughs with us- she obviously cares about her job! We were seated on the patio and had an excellent view of the slopes as well. We all got burgers and sandwiches and they were excellent. My only critique would be that they were all overcooked. I ordered my burger (as pictured below) medium-rare, and got it almost well-done. I understand the food safety standpoint though. Next time we're up in Beaver Creek, we will definitely be back.
