I met Monica with a friend at another restaurant in Galveston. When she payed for our meal for no good reason. She is truly an amazing and kind individual. I 100% recommended this place there wasn’t a thing I didn’t like about it. Service was amazing and food was even better!!!

Monica is an extraordinary individual with such a passion for the culinary arts, which one experiences with every delectable bite. Her food is a beautiful vacation for the mouth. It is aesthetically pleasing as it is delicious.

Monica's is a truly special place. The chef/owner works tirelessly to provide unique and special dishes for her guests and it shows. I love that she buys from local vendors whenever possible. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is second to none. If you want food that is full of flavors--especially new flavors or unexpected flavor combinations--give Monica's a try. You won't be sorry!

Found this little spot by accident one day. We went in about a month later and loved everything about it. The dining area is small, quiet, and well lit. The walls are covered in work by a local artist. And the food... They only offer salads and sandwiches, but that's just fine. The sandwich is more filling than bread, which I appreciate. All the flavors were fresh and bright, and the portions are very generous. We got a sandwich each and split a salad. After we were done there was enough left over to comfortably feed a third person. If not the best lunch spot in Beaumont, definitely in the top three.

Wow. I was passing through for work, and this place came up as highly rated on Google. So, I decided to give it a try. One of the daily specials was the schezwan chicken. It was outstanding. I asked for a little extra spice, and they got it perfect. Also, the staff was very friendly. I’ll be working in the area occasionally, and I will try to make this place a stop.

Today was my first time at Monica's. I lived the salad meal I had. The atmosphere was wonderful and we met Monica herself which was awesome. She seemed every bit as friendly and genuine as I can remember when she would come on the morning show on KFDM. I will go back without hesitation!

A friend and I had salads today at Monica's. She had the Strawberry/Peach Burrata Chicken Salad and I had the LemonGrass Chicken Salad. Both salads were served promptly and very fresh. The dressings were tasty and we enjoyed our salads very much. I liked Monica's, but I think they should expand their menu a little bit, so when I return I can try new items. I wish I had tried a dessert there. Overall, a nice lunch venue!

Monica is an artist who pours her heart into every morsel of food. Everything is fresh. This is a farm to table type place with the best of the best ingredients and it shows. Warm friendly atmosphere displaying local art. Hours are limited to lunch on weekdays and dinner on Thursdays. Food is a bit pricey but worth every penny for quality and flavor. Delicious salads at lunch! Dinner was amazing... and the fig dessert to die for. You can't go wrong with anything that you decide to order

Ate here for the first time recently, and I'm kind of upset I only just found this place. Monica is incredibly nice and made some great suggestions on a few things I should try. Ended up with the Elvis sandwich and a small nacho and both were fantastic. Monica came by to ask how things were going and explain a bit more about each place and its ingredients. We even chatted about her time in Egypt as a chef, really can't say enough about how nice she is and how good the food is. Looking forward to my next trip!

Today was my first time to try Monica's and all I can say is I'm sorry I waited this long. Chicken Apple Salad is amazing (and I hate salads - New Year's diet made me choose something healthy) - definitely the best salad I've ever had. Can't wait to go back - will be recommending to all my friends and family.
