The best soul food this side of the Mason Dixie Line. What a treat to get healthy and good southern dishes. I met Mama who makes sky hi lemon and coconut cakes. Her ribs are to die for, along with her cabbage and collard greens. A retired army daughter has her army star on the door. My sister and I order the the up coming week meals.

Man, this place was a awesome. I got the ribs with Mac and Cheese as well as the corn. A delicious authentic meal. The ribs were so tender and flavorful, the Mac and cheese was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of cheese and the corn was no frills but I swear it was some of the best corn I’ve ever had. Also got the sweet potato pie and it followed suit with the rest of the meal. Extremely well made and tasty. You can tell they cook this food with Love. Easily, the best meal I’ve ever had in Beacon.

I literally just spent 10 dollars on 2 little ass pieces of fish. I have been to bjs plenty of times over the years and the last few times it has taken over 45 mins for an order of fish and they really do not have the help that they need. Bjs was a staple in the community but it's time to hang it up.

Went here on 3/10/22 for lunch. My family and I are big soul food lovers coming from the bronx. I came here in Sept and INHALED my food I couldn't wait to come back. Mama as the waitresses called her has blessed hands. I feel horrible for not getting my waitress name. She and mama made us feel like family. Saw we were having a rough time with one of our littles who was tired and also teething. They gave her a little mac on the house and a ring pop that did just the trick. Such amazing women here, They have such beautiful hearts that also reflect in the food 10/10.
