I guess it was too much of a hidden gem. This location has closed.
This place is like a hidden gem. They order some of their fish straight from japan. So if you don't know what you're ordering you should ask first. It's not the typical everyday things you should get from here I think that's where some of the bad reviews come from.

Been here the first time a week ago, I was amazed. Had the Omakase and the course was incredible. Toro melted in my mouth and not to mention the delicately tempura giant prawn with thin fried rice noodles was fantastic. Flavors were exciting and service was remarkable from a one waitress run that I've observed. Definitely worth the money and will be returning there soon

Chef is Japanese Satoshi San if I remember correctly. There are fresh imported fish from Japan daily. Not your typical Chinese ran Sushi join next door. The desert is awesome and I am not even a desert person.

Fish was very fresh

The best you'll find in all NE Queens! Excellent service, nice casual atmosphere, and of course, great food.

Authentic, superb Japanese Food. Artfully prepared, freshest fish, many hard to find specialty fish flown in from Japan. Lobster (order 1 day in advance) is prepared as sashimi, sushi, and gently steamed with a subtly flavored butter sauce. Another favorite is Scallop sashimi and sea urchin.
A unique experience in Queens. Recently tried their cooked food-Rib-Eye Steak, cooked exactly as order-tender....Black Cod was succulent. Omakase dinner is an event. Rolls are not what they're about-however, the
California roll is made with real crab! Yes, only 1 waitress, but excellent at what she does. Did I mention, everything is authentic: from Shiso Leaves to Red Beans!

The food is great. A local gems for sushi . Great detail on each piece of sushi. Not a typical neighborhood Japanese restaurant. You may pay double the price in the city.

Great quality sushi and seafood at very reasonable prices. This is one of the best omakase deals in NYC.

I've been here a handful of times and I must say this is my favorite and I believe to be the best sushi spot in the area! Some might say it's a little pricey but what I say is that it's totally worth cost and I don't mind paying it for the quality that I have gotten! Will definitely be back.
