Nothing like missing half the toppings of a $15 burger. To boot, was told they were out of what I ordered to drink, and then surprisingly they all of the sudden had it. All of the people around us had issues with their orders, and we even heard that someone who had a to-go order called in had issues as well. With having an average bill at a restaurant being close to $100, this business needs to get its act together.

I have eaten at Stella's several times. There has been good service in the past and they have a great wine selection. The patio and location are wonderful.
The current staff needs to be trained on the menu and food allergies. I cannot stress how important this is for any restaurant, especially for the only restaurant in town that is capable of accommodating food allergies (that I am aware of).
Today I ordered fries with my lunch and they were inedible. Soggy and way over salted.
I have high hopes for Stella's and will be back. Hopefully to a better trained staff. Thank you!

5 stars every time I have been there. Such a fun place to eat inside and out on the front patio or back deck. We love going to ALL of Battle Lake’s restaurants and this one is really stepping up its game!!! A+

Had lunch here yesterday. The pear and Gorgonzola pizza was absolutely amazing. My boyfriend and I both said it was one of the best pizzas we’ve ever had! Meghan was our server and provided excellent, friendly and helpful service. Check them out!

Great pizza and lemonade, nice atmosphere on a Sunday. Would recommend to others 👍

We were a celebration party of 7. All of the food arrived as ordered, at the same time, everything was delicious and the service was fabulous. We had pizzas, 2 Thai dishes, the artichoke appetizer and a fantastic, (according to a finicky fried fish fan) walley finger dinner. My only regret is that I didn't get a take out pizza for today

A friend and I chose to get together tonight. Very disappointed! We walked in, one table in lift area, a waitress at the counter stood almost next to us when we arrived. She was talking to a gal seated at the bar. My friend and I stood admiring the newly added portion of the restaurant. No welcome for us. We stood for a bit thinking we maybe need to be seated. Nothing. We proceeded to find a table and sat down. We waited 10 minutes, nothing. We decided to leave. As we were leaving the waitress was coming down the stairs from tending to the 1 table in the loft. In fact she paused to let us walk by. No words yet! We walked out and went to the boathouse where we had exceptional service and great food as always. Will not be back. Very disappointed.

I don't know where all these other reviewers are eating, but it certainly isn't Stella's in Battle Lake Minnesota.
First thing I noticed was the awning outside was tattered and had moss growing on it (I should have left at that point). Second, we sat down and the table was sticky. It wasn't like they were busy either, it was Friday at 7:00 P.M. and maybe there were four tables with customers.
The waitress was SUPER nice, I liked her and she did a great job! How she didn't notice the ripping sound the menu's made when she tore them off the sticky table is beyond me.
The restaurant is WAY TOO LOUD and open. Like everything anyone says just echoes throughout the room. It's hard to have a conversation when you have to yell to your partner to compete with the table across the room.
Finally, the food. HORRIBLE! We had the Crab and Artichoke dip. There is NO crab there is NO artichoke in it. Basically it was cooked cream cheese with mozzarella broiled on top. The bread it was served with tasted like week old mass produced bread, it wasn't ciabatta, it wasn't cooked, it wasn't buttered and broiled. Just cut up and put in a bowl. ZERO stars for this dish, it was nasty!
We also had the Walleye Pizza. I love pizza, I love walleye, I love fish tacos, I love pretty much all fish any way it can be cooked or not cooked. So this sounded like a fish taco on a pizza. Cool! NOPE! The pickles are dill pickles. Totally ruined the whole thing. And, where was the avocado crema? Where was the cilantro and chipotle drizzle? The sauces were tasteless or absent. It was basically fried walleye sticks with cabbage, jalapeno, and dill pickles.
Overall, this was a huge waste of money and not a good time, and I guess my partner and I were "too polite" to complain, but we should have. You need to step up your game, I can walk across the street and get better bar food for less. Or I can drive to Perham and have an amazing meal for the same as what I spent here.
