A Checkers is a Checkers is a Rally’s… this location however, got our large order entirely correct, food was prepared quickly, came out hot and tasty. There is a small area with 4 stone picnic tables and umbrella if you didn’t want to eat on the go. Definitely one of the best Checkers in MI.
Been over 15 years since I had been to a Checkers! So, of course, I had to try it! Still as good as I remember.
All the food came out hot and delicious. The loaded fries were especially good!
They have great combo deals and good prices.

Guy at the window is awesome! I don’t know his name but he has long blonde hair. I’ve only been there twice since moving to Battle Creek and both times he helped me when other employees were failing too. Keep him on your team! He’s a good person to have.
The employees were nice. We ordered 2 five piece chicken tenders with large fries. Since it was close to their closing time we were expecting a wait and we were ok with it, to us it just means fresh food.
ate outside only thing apple pie was ordered after we ate our main meal they said they where fresh made but they where cold
Hadn't been here before, but the burger and fries I had were excellent! Hot, fresh, tasty, awesome service and speedy! I may make special trips out to this side of town for another very satisfying meal!
Great taste, very filling, and a short wait! The perfect combo, we love getting food here. We've gotten their burgers, fries, drinks, and desserts and loved it every time.
The location is also really easy to get in and out of which is saying a lot for Columbia Ave.
