Great barbecue restaurant. Husband had the short ribs. They were meaty and tender, and the sauce was fantastic. I had the chicken kabobs. The chicken was moist and flavorful, and the onion and green peppers were cooked perfectly. The only thing I would change about them would be to add pineapple. That is just my preference, though.
It was the best I've had in a while. If you want amazing food and good drinks come here.
The food was delicious and the views were nice. It took 10 minutes to get noticed by the waitress once seated and three times of asking for a drink before it finally made it to the table. Other than that, everything was wonderful. The manager was very nice and could be found roaming the restaurant talking to patrons, which I loved. I can't stand when management hides behind the scenes and doesn't check on the guests; here it was the opposite. We got 2 visits throughout our time here, both very pleasant. If we are ever in the area again, this is where we will be. 🥩👍
This was my first visit here to Finley's. The barbeque here isn't bad, it was above average. I skipped the appetizer bread, but they offered sourdough or multigrain.
I got the three meat combo. It came with brisket and pulled pork and smoked sausage. The brisket is tender and moist, if a little bland. The sauces they offer help with the flavor. However, I didn't have any one favorite sauce. The Pulled pork is good too. It's tender and juicy. Again a little bland, but great with a bit of sauce. The Cornbread was tasty, but really dry and crumbly. I really enjoyed the smoked bake beans. I also enjoyed the tasty, perfectly cooked sweet potato fries.
I didn't dislike anything I had. Overall a good meal. I paid about $25 for everything above. I've been on a BBQ kick lately so I've visited quite a few. I've had better, but I'd say this is a place I'll come back to if I'm in Battle Creek again.
Food was tasty, about on par with what I was expecting on my first visit. It came out in a reasonable amount of time and was a good temperature. The wait staff was friendly, but seemed to be a bit in a hurry. The aisles between tables seemed a little cramped, especially since most of the them were occupied. The enclosure around each booth are nice and provide some privacy so you can hear your conversation.

Went in for my birthday on a Monday, received the prime rib which is usually pretty good, it wasn't as great this time.. It was saltier than normal and smaller, especially with a third of it just straight fat. (I eat the fat, just not that much) I was a few minutes behind my party getting there and had to wait a long time to order my drink, a water, at that time we were ready for the food. Finally got the water when my salad came out. (It wasnt packed/busy) Looks alot nicer in there since they painted and did the floors. Had my dinner been full price I would have rated lower.
Stopped on the way home from niagara falls! The brisket sandwich was perfect. Ribs fell off the bone but weren't overcooked. Tablets as menu's allowed you to click on pics to see what you wanted. Our server was great. Very down home feeling. No wait between lunch and dinner on a Friday is when we were there
Really nice lunch, had not been here in a very long time. Awesome fresh bread, good selection/variety for entrees and side dishes,
& our server Lauren was super awesome.
So excited to have Finley's food again. Haven't had it since the one in Jackson closed. The salmon and the Hawaiian chicken are my favorites, and don't forget about the bread......
This past Sunday was my wedding and we had Finleys cater! The food is amazing! Our guests could not stop talking about how good the pulled pork and Mac n Cheese was! Finleys is very accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions. I had a few vegetarian friends who I wanted to be able to enjoy a nice meal, and they went above and beyond what I had requested. Making sure the beans were vegetarian, providing an alternative option to meat, etc. I believe it was fairly priced with such high quality food and service.
