Sonic Drive-in

This place is always a hit and miss.. I recall one time I ordered a large slush and they brought out a medium one.. I informed them of what I ordered and the female on the intercom told me "I know but I charged you for a medium" I just pulled off because my food was already paid for and I didn't have time to argue. Another incident they took forever to bring me my change back. I press the button and the female once again told me "oh she looking for change" It just seems as though either there is always an issue with my order and when I ask in a nice way about the issue an attitude always follows. I get places are short staffed but if you can't work with the public and learn to have better communication this will always be a problem.

Sonic has the best drinks and ice hands down. However, I stopped by recently to get a cranberry limeade slush w/nerds and was given a regular cranberry slush. I didn't think to taste it until I drove off further down the road and instantly realized by how sweet it was that it wasn't what I ordered. Traffic was too heavy to turn around so I just brought it home and put it in the freezer. They normally always get my drinks right, so I didn't think to check it, so that was my fault. Either way, noone's perfect , that error wasn't enough to stop me from still ordering from them. Since then, I make sure to be sure that my order is correct before leaving.

As you can see a picture is worth a thousand words. Thankfully I was lucky enough to get my milkshake 5 minutes before another poor customer was turned away because , you guessed it, the ice cream 🍦 🍨 machine was down!? 😆 🤣 😂 lawwwwd!!! Other than that the poor lil waiter was so sweet he was such a sweetheart and you could tell he was shy and probably embarrassed to be serving the food his obviously high co workers had prepared. This is what happens when you let teenagers run a restaurant.

Food was good! We had sonic burritos, foot long, onion rings, tots, and shakes. Service was average. Atmosphere was only down side. Luckily the homeless didn't hang out in sonic area, but quite a few around it in home depot area and red light exit. One was in shadow of road and I worried about someone not seeing them.
