Waffle House

Waffle House at 18159 Highland employees has EXCELLENT customer service! Everyone was constantly asked "Is everything okay?, or "Do you need anything?" The employees welcome you as soon as you walk in. The orders come out speedily and correct. At this location I felt so appreciated and valued as a customer! And of course the food was hot, fresh and delicious!!!!

When I arrived at the store , I ordered my food I then noticed it wasn’t a lot of customers which I thought was good. The place was disgusting dirty dishes on tables and the stove was not cleaned .you would think it would be spotless since they wasn’t that busy. Everything was nasty including the food it was burnt. I’m never going there again. The eggs undercooked the steak Burnt the bacon burnt and the waitress had a nasty attitude. Horrible place.

I like breakfast at Waffle House. Going to the Highland location was a first. I wasn't given the trademark greeting After sitting down at the counter... I could see piles of food on the floor .. in the path of the waiters and cooks. My waitress took my order in good time. That is when it became clear that there was a serious breakdown in the process. It seemed to be centered around one of the cooks. Whole plates of food were thrown in the trash... waitresses were upset with how the food orders were forgotten or ignored. My breakfast came in stages... but, i was sympathetic for the waitress that knew what she was doing.. but the system was broken I will continue to go to Waffle House

I was greeted nicely and seated promptly. My waitress came over immediately and asked if I knew what I wanted and ordered immediately. She didn’t say a single word to me after that. She brought out the food fairly quickly but I got no response to my “Thank You.” I had the All-American breakfast with eggs over easy, hash browns, and a cup of coffee. The coffee was very good. Eggs were a little runny (I should have ordered over medium) but good. Hash browns were a little under done (they always are, almost every where you go). I prefer hash BROWNS, not hash warms. The waffle was good too. During my meal I noticed that the music in the restaurant was quite loud. Is this one of those “Waffle House Night Clubs?” After one coffee refill I was virtually ignored. When I paid my check, again the waitress said absolutely nothing; she just rang it up, I handed her my card, she passed it back, I signed, handed it back and she put it in the register and walked away, nary a single word. It’d be nice to get a “thank you for coming” or a “you’re welcome“ to my “thank you” but I guess some people just don’t like their job or are simply unsociable.
