Where have I been that I never noticed this place? This place was everything for a bday experience. My waitress Tori was SUPER!!! She took her time and explained the menu and she stayed on top of everything. When my bf got the Chicken Monticello it was very salty, My bf is the type of person that does not like to send food back, But the salt was very overpowering. Our waitress took the food back and within minutes the manager came and apologized for the kitchen and explained that they were going to prepare a fresh one for us. When I tell you everything was Re-prepared and the food was cooked to perfection. The manager stood by to make sure everything was great. Even though the food originally was salty it was the experience and how they made it right then made this evening amazing. I definitely plan to come back because not only is the food great but the place was clean, a great atmosphere, and experience with everything!

We are here from Tampa, Florida area. Looking for area Cajun cuisine and we were not disappointed. Tori our server was very kind and knowledgeable. We only did appetizers and soup, we've been so full from every where else. The place was super loud and environment set for polar bears, my only complaint. Food was excellent and with beautiful chef presentation.

Emma was our server and she gave extraordinary service tonight!! 👍🏽 She interacted with us by asking if we were celebrating something special. I responded by saying, yes, I am celebrating my career move and embracing a new relationship. So I chose Rouj Creole to kick off new beginnings!! Thanks for the kind words and the advice on the (long distance thing)😇 Emma was very pleasant, and had profound knowledge about the menu (I'm pescatarian), so she was attentive to my specific food selections. The crab cakes were delectable and mouth watering! The Moules Frites plating and presentation was outstanding and appetizing for sure... yummy 😋 My friend enjoyed the Seafood Lasagna so much that after each bite, he commented about how delicious and tasteful the dish was! I had the Potato Gnocchi with a side of Garlic Mashed Potatoes and everything was scrumptious and the hint of sweet taste to the tomato sauce was genius! Kudos, to Emma for providing excellent service from start to finish!!!

I came with a party of 15, my wife and I ordered our food first. However our food was brought out much later. Mine in particular wasn't brought out until everyone else in our party was finished eating. The surprising thing was that someone else with us ordered the same meal and received theirs with everyone else. It was evident that the waitress did not place my order. Besides that, the food was delicious!

Wow, I was very impressed with my Birthday Party Dinner. The vibe is upscale, dress to impress type of night. We pick two appetizers that were fresh and hot. Our entrées were to die for, and all the tables around us were satisfied as well. This restaurant is a “No To-Box Needed Night”! -CRAB CLAWS sautéed Louisiana blue crab claws, cayenne butter, giardiniera / $20 -SHRIMP + GREEN TOMATO NAPOLEON green tomatoes, boiled shrimp, remoulade, avocado, green onion / $16.

There's no way the steak that came with my Tournedos & Shrimp entree was a filet. That was a sirloin, similar to the kind you receive at Waffle House with the steak & eggs meal. It was over cooked, too. The potatoes were good & hot. Shrimp were good too, but cold. My french toast sliders were cold, too, but my waiter had them heated for me. My friend's omelette was cold as well, but her potatoes were hot. There was also a manager with blonde hair that stopped by tables on our side to check and ask how everything was. She skipped the tables with black customers! Our waiter was very friendly and pleasant, not one complaint there. In fact, I always receive top notch service from waiters/waitresses at this restaurant. I've been here about 7 times. Other items that I've had on the menu that were good were the catfish & grits and lamb chops.
