This is my first time having this pizza since 2009! I've never eaten at this location before, but my last visit was at the 3rd street location. Although it feels like it's been 100 years, I remember the pizza being really good, but just don't remember the exact flavor. Well, I must say the pizza is still AMAZING and packed with flavor!! Definitely one of the best pizzas in the Baton Rouge area, maybe even the southern portion of Louisiana. Lol
I got it to geaux, but the atmosphere is relaxing and chill. I got THE BIG PEPPERONI and RUSTICO in the solo size, but it also comes in 18". Both were very delicious. Next time I won't wait over 13 years to visit again!!
Traveling through town and was craving pizza. The pizza was spectacular loved it. Got the meats and meats pizza. When I'm back in town I will enjoy this again. Love the building very fun place.
We were visiting Baton Rouge and needed a quick bite to eat. Schlittz & Giggles was only 2 blocks from our hotel so we decided to eat there. It's in downtown, so the building is older, but who cares. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was family friendly. We ordered several pizzas and some garlic knots. The solo sized "kitchen floor" pizza was excellent. A little floppy on the crust, but it has a ton of toppings so that is kind of expected or it will burn.
The full sized 18" pepperoni and ham pizza was excellent. Crust was solid and the sauce/toppings were really great.
The garlic knots are amazing, but very garlicky. So if you really don't like the taste of garlic, they might not be your speed. They are covered in Parmesan cheese and a garlic sauce... So good.
I didn't come to Louisiana expecting to have great pizza, not we did. Highly recommend this place.
Wonderful pizza, great atmosphere and good service! Only wish they had fried mozzarella cheese sticks for an appetizer!
