Blue Rose Cafe

If you’re looking for a place where everyone is welcome then Blue Rose cafe is your spot! I found this place on Yelp and decided to check it out. It’s off the beaten path in an industrial area so most wouldn’t know it exists. When we arrived the place was empty but it soon got busier towards lunch time. We were greeted as if we were regular customers. Our server explained that they were still serving breakfast and promptly too our drink orders. Everything on the menu sounded good so I decided to try the Egg combo and my son ordered the Pancake combo. While waiting for our food I struck up a conversation with our server and another lady that was there. I explained that I was in town visiting and hadn’t been back home in 5 years. They were both so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Breakfast arrived hot and delicious. Y’all! Don’t skip the biscuits! They are homemade, huge and delicious! The pancakes were good too! Heck everything was great! Even the sweet tea was delicious. I wish that we were in town longer because their lunch specials looked amazing! I really wanted to try their Pasta Fagouli casserole but I didn’t have the room. Their specials change daily so I would suggest check Facebook to see what they have. Also if you’re doing Keto, they also have keto friendly items. To the staff at Blue Rose I want to say Thank You for welcoming us and we look forward to returning on our next trip!

I almost passed it up. The exterior greenery or landscaping needs some tending to. The inside was a little dim for me so I opted to dine at the outside seating. My order was taken quickly by Catherine and food came out promptly as well. It wasn't quite busy. The breakfast burrito and the cheese grits were great. I was checked on throughout my time there so overall great service. Great prices as well. Wish I lived a bit closer because I would love to try thier lunch menu.

I usually get the French Dip or Chicken Club, both are really great, but they were doing a limited menu today. Guessing supply issues from hurricane Ida. So I tried the Chicken Salad and was definitely not disappointed. Very flavorful. This place has a friendly and attentive staff and always has delicious food. Great place for good red beans too. Highly recommend for breakfast and lunch.
