I usually enjoy east dragon, however the last few times I've gone the amount of food has decreased while the price increases. I ordered broccoli and shrimp they usually put the rice in a separate container, however today they included it on the same dish. I paid $10+for mostly rice. There was barely any room for the veggies.

I asked for shrimp fried rice and popcorn shrimp. I received shrimp fried rice and popcorn shrimp that were store brought. Something that comes out of a box like Gordon's popcorn shrimp, and fried. The rice was good. I won't be back.

Just stopped at this place to get a quick bite to eat and it's a lot better then I thought it was going to be. I'm from NY and they got some good spots out in long Island, and this place is very similar to back at home. Every other place I tried so far in the past year didn't hold up like this one. Highly recommend East Dragon. The chicken fried rice is extremely good!!!

Phone order always fast and ready for pick up. Very friendly and nice. Food is always good and delicious. 5 star doesn't do it justice. This is best Chinese restaurant in baton rouge!! Food always on point and fresh. Other place be old or flavor not there. So if you want some Chinese. Give this place a try. We go here once every week.

Portions were good. Food was not stellar though. Got Sesame chicken, which came with broccoli that had been steamed/microwaved separately and not even tossed in the sauce. Also got shrimp fried rice, which was about the weakest fried rice I've ever eaten. The rice was barely tan in color, onions were practically raw, and there was no seasoning on the shrimp whatsoever.

This is some of the worst food I've ordered in a long time. The food is basically rapidly reheated without a care and the portions are abysmal. You've gotta be borderline starving, extremely broke, or have bad taste to actually enjoy this place. The best thing you can do for yourself is to drive past it. Subpar service. Below the bar food. I ordered the teriyaki chicken with lo mein and a cat fish plate with fries. The chicken was basically Tyson chicken strips with a super light layer of teriyaki sauce and the lo mein was like eating pasta smothered in grease. The fries were soggy and soft, and the catfish tasted artificial and not fresh; it was literally reheated in an oven rather than fried. I ate a few bites and then threw it in the trash. If I wanted to eat reheated food I could have stayed at home. Spend your money elsewhere.

I love their moo shu vegetable. I keep coming back just for this. I've tried moo shu veg at many other Baton Rouge "fast" food restaurants and I like East Dragon's the best. They have a wide variety of items and it is freshly cooked. You can even watch them cook it. This is really more of an order and then take it home place, unless you are grabbing a fast lunch. But the food is hot, tasty and generous.
