Okay Newks, is a must visit. If you like simple sandwiches with flavor, Newks is the way to go. The prices can be high for some. But trust me, it is worth it. The salads are filling and you will pay more for meat/protein. The cakes and brownies are Soo decadent. They have THE best soups!! Highly recommend the lobster bisque and cheese & broccoli. Oh, the black eye pea salad is a good side for the ham and cheddar sandwich. I love their sandwiches. The chicken pesto is good for someone watching calorie, the roast beef is great for someone who down like much on their sandwiches. My favorite is the Newks Q, it is grilled chicken, with cheese, bacon and their White bbq sauce. This also comes in pizza form!! A plus - of you purchase a drink the cups are reusable and good quality. I have like 20!

Tasty food, unusual for a restaurant that does so many other things to do gumbo right. My favourite things here are the roast beef sandwich (it's mid rare!!!) And the peanut butter chocolate rice crispy treats. Great to have a condiment table. The employee whom brought out my food was a bit of a space case but friendly and happy to correct mistakes when they were brought up.

Prices were a bit steep, but the food was great. Fast service, friendly folks. One of the things I liked about it was the space between tables. We didn't feel crowded. It was comfortable. They had a good balance of domestic and craft beers. Not draught. A few different wine choices.

Not too expensive. Great atmosphere. I highly recommend the pizzas and soups. The pizzas are personal sized which makes it an easy meal for one person. The cups are also very generously sized and can be reused at home for many purposes.

I would consider this place an upscale sandwich shop that serves a few extras such as pizza, mac-n-cheese, salads, and deserts. The food is good, but the portions appeared to be smaller on our latest visit. I ordered the soup (roasted tomato) and sandwich (1/2 grilled steak). When the food was brought out to the table, they brought me the wrong sandwich. No questions asked, a new sandwich was prepared and delivered, but it took an additional ten minutes. One kid's pizza with drink, one soup and sandwich, one grilled chicken sandwich with a side of mac-n-cheese, and two drinks cost $31. Overall, I would recommend this place.
