Red Wolf Bar & Grill

Two pints of flat beer, steak overcooked. Salad that was supposed to come with the meal wasn’t delivered until I asked for it. It was miserable. Asked for some sides for the steak that never arrived. Had been looking forward to trying this place out for a while but was wildly disappointed. This seems to be a theme of the eating establishments in the region. Will not return.

The chicken wings were tasteful, the skin was a light crisp and ample amount of flavor. I wanted the pot stickers but they were sold out so I ended up settling for the howling fries. They were alright but don't think the banana peppers with the jalapeno peppers mixed well. Service was pretty good as were the sight of the new bar tender.

We are new to the area. We were hoping to find a nice friendly bar near home. That didn't happen. The young lady who served us just wasn't very pleasant. I don't even think she knew how she was acting. She had no idea how to make the drink I ordered. It tasted like water and lemon juice. If she would have been honest and told me she didn't know how to make them, I simply would have ordered a beer. Needless to say. we left to eat and drink else wear. Although it was a further drive, we loved the FRIENDLY atmosphere, and the food is always great there. When you go to a good bar/restaurant, there is a certain vib you get as soon as you walk in. The vib at Red Wolf was not inviting to us.
