LIBBY ROCKS! Just discovered this restaurant and couldn’t wait to visit this Tuesday in April, 2022 because even though the dining room was busy, the pleasant hostesses, Becca & Lana, told us we were in luck with a cozy booth back by the bar. Then Libby showed up as our server with her engaging personality and helpful attitude. We ordered bang bang shrimp with sauce on side ($8.99) for appetizer. My entree of Faroe Island Pecan crusted Salmon topped with a sweet sauce was cooked just right but will order the sauce on side next time as it overshadows the delicate flavor of fish. Accompanied by loaded bake potato (up charge of $1.99) and that huge side salad of spring mix, red onion, croutons, cucumbers, grape tomatoes and shredded cheese. Topped with their bacon dressing. Oh my! My hubs ordered the half rack ribs, the mixed greens salad with a serving of that awesome Mac & cheese. Really good. ($19.99) Couple mugs of birch beer ($$2.25) and quite satisfied with every bite! Kudos to the kitchen staff for efforts to serve delicious, comfort food!

First time here. Place was crowded. Had to wait a little for our table. Only reason for one less star. Well worth the wait! We had several tables celebrating a birthday party. Guinness French onion soup and the crab cakes are what I selected. Both were well prepared and very tasty! Service was fast, efficient and very friendly! Definitely a place you would return to several times if not do some homesteading.

Vintage hotel with a wide variety of foods on the menu. The bang bang shrimp was delicious, just the right amount of heat. Smothered tater tots had lots of flavor. Wings tasty and juicy not greasy. Salmon was cooked perfectly. Salad was crisp and fresh. Did a to go with the peach bread pudding for dessert the next day. I'm anxious to go back and try some of the other dishes!! To add to our dinner I had a lemon drop martini. Only get this if you like tart but it was good. This may be our next go to place. Thank you Jamie for making our experience pleasurable. Only problem I can see is the parking. Need better parking and you DEFINITELY need reservations!!

The food is very well prepared, I had the triple sampler ( ribs, brisket, sausage and two sides). We have been here before and will keep coming back! The staff is very accommodating!!

I've been going to Point Phillips Hotel for several years now, and even though I never had any problems it has managed to get consistently better. Food is top-notch while still being rustic and not being pretentious. Dishes are well-designed, cooked properly, and very flavorful. The menu changes fairly regularly in addition to daily and weekly specials, and they continually are adding better and better options. I smoke my own meats, but when I don't have time or energy, Point Phillips Hotel passes me standards for BBQ quality. Pricing on food is remarkably good considering the quality. The bar is run just as well as the kitchen. Beer selection is decent, but cocktails and martinis especially are excellent. The only downside is that, for the reasons mentioned above, it is extremely busy. Saturday and Sunday afternoons, or late-ish Tuesday and Wednesday seem to be the only times you can go without a reservation. Otherwise, you need to make reservations a week or two out. But it's worth it.

Loved the food. Portions are very generous. Jamie was awesome! The atmosphere was noisy, so if you want a quiet, romantic place for dinner, this isn't for you. But if you want a good place to have good food, you gotta check it out!!!

Can't say enough good things about this place. Only thing I had are the menu that I didn't love was the warm German potato salad... Found it kind of bland.

The chicken wings and the chicken the the sample were fantastic. A nice smoky flavor and good crispness. The coleslaw was perfectly creamy and not sweet, which is something I prefer. The brisket left a bit to be desired, it seemed a bit dry but the flavor was good. Paired with some horseradish sauce (ask the server), brought the brisket to life and made it much better. The waitress we had was a bit strange, she didn’t seem to want to acknowledge me at all and only focused on my girlfriend. Her service was good and prompt, but it felt a bit odd being almost completely ignored the whole time besides when I made my order. Even then she didn’t make eye contact. 🤔. I didn’t think I was that ugly 😆
