Great place to have breakfast or lunch my favorite is chicken sandwich talk about flavor it’s amazing. Nice cozy feeling sitting in dining room. Server Susan makes the experience better very attentive.

This was our second trip to Mae’s. We enjoyed our food and the quiet, and private atmosphere. Even though the restaurant was full, we did not feel that we were eavesdropping on other’s conversations. we will definitely come back again. I only wish it was closer to my southern Maine home.

Conveniently located in the heart of Bath, great atmosphere with a wonderful menu. Friendly staff and food was very good - off street parking. Close at 2pm. Recommended!

A delightful place for breakfast in a charming old building. We got there early which seems wise given the long lines outside when we left. Our server was very friendly, food came fast, it was delicious and portions are generous. We'll be back!

I had take-out of their house made-pastries and granola bars. Granola bars are the best I ever ate. How good are their pastries? So good that I went back today and asked if they could ship to me when I get home. Yes!! As to the restaurant, it looks very nice and has a great menu.

The cutest place with amazing food and service! I ordered an omelette and pancakes and everything was exceptional. The sourdough toast was homemade, home fries were so flavorful, omelette was super fluffy, and the pancakes were melt-in-your-mouth. On top of that, our server Gerry was lovely!!

Great atmosphere and service. A bit of a wait but worth it. Clean bathrooms had the Turkey Rueben very happy. Thank you.

Oh My Gosh!! What a gem! The wait staff was so sweet. We were seated right away and taken care of immediately! The coffee was so good and before we knew it the food was out. Everything was delicious from the eggs to the French toast on house made cinnamon swirl bread!! We all grabbed baked goodies from the case on the way out that we're also delicious. The lemon bar is tart but refreshing 😋
It was so good we went back 2 days later for round two. I recommend the Morselys Moutain for those that are hungry!

Love Mae's Cafe! My family has been going here for the last 6 years or so. The food is always fresh and a great value with generous portions, served by friendly staff. I generally get a Reuben for lunch, or Hunters Breakfast for breakfast.
