Hardee's

Went there last night and stood at the counter for 5 minutes and was totally ignored! Nobody even spoke to me. Walked out, ordered nothing, and ate at home. Texted Dustin, district manager and he apologized, but did nothing to make it right - no coupon, discount, etc. When I mentioned I would eat at Wendy's or Bojangles, he didn't try to regain my business! He wished me well! Any competent manager would have tried to regain and retain my business; he didn't. Underwhelmed and unimpressed. Will never eat there again.

Good ol Hardees. Most of the time I only visit the drive thru. It's a hit or miss with both the food and the customer service. Sometimes food is good and hot. Sometimes customer service is just really bland. Breakfast is a great time to go because it's really busy and food is guaranteed to be good anytime after that though you might need to ask for fresh food and be willing to wait.

Updated 5-11-2017 ... They opened late and the new young Manager Justin gave no apologies. They had no knife / fork packets and was told (complete with flippant attitude) I'd have to eat my sausage and gravy biscuit with a spoon by Manager Justin. I refused. By this time, my biscuit that was swimming in excess gravy and was therefore soggy too, so I requested and got a refund. It came complete with a huffy, unapologetic attitude. I attempted to call the Franchise owner, Madu, at Carolina Convenience Corp got his voicemail only. I called again and his mailbox was full, so I spoke with Hardee's Corporate. Madu has not returned my call. I am taking my business elsewhere as they seem to not care about retaining my business. Do not eat here. Bojangles is cheaper and they have better food only a mile away on Hwy 1 in the middle of town on the left as you are heading toward Lexington.

I ordered the quarter pound thick burger with no cheese, no pickles, extra tomato and extra onion. I got my burger, bit into it and the burger was actually crunchy on the out side edges, very dry inside, nothing like I had ever been served at any Hardees. I took the burger back to the counter and an employee called a person named Beth up. She was the head honcho, there at the time. I visibly showed her the burger and the edges were burned black, charred. Of course she did not look at it to even see what I was talking about. She stated she had just cooked the burger herself and she knew it was fresh. I stated to her, well you're saying I am a liar...she stated, I did not say that. I started to tell her that no supervisor pushes the workers out of the way to cook a burger, but there was no need. Someone prepared me another burger, fresh, juicy and tasty...just what I deserved. As I went to leave, Beth, the head honcho, and several were at the counter. I called her name loudly, Beth atleast three times and she avoided me, walking off. Then an employee called her name...she returned to the front...I looked at her and thanked her for fixing the problem...stating my new burger was perfect, like all I had ever had at Hardees in the past. She stated she was glad it was good. I sure hope in February when they move to the new location across town that customer satisfaction will be number one for all employees and that kind of incident will stay in the past. I was impressed with the interaction between the other employees with each other. Doing it right at Hardees will keep this kind of negativity from happening. I love telling people they did a great job rather than basically being told what I said couldn't be true. Again, managers don't cook hamburgers Beth, I wasn't born 30 minutes ago. Everything about this place is terrible. The chicken sandwich at this location made me sick. Btw, I ordered grilled and he put it in the fryer...then the manajor and employee debated if it came with cheese...because the picture shows cheese that could possibly be mayo.. This is the type of people you deal with at this location.
