Tgi Fridays

Friday's is tired and needs a desperate update for both the building and the menu! The atmosphere just didn't change with the times nor did the menu. I guess no one at corporate got the memo 5 years ago that fresh food was something that the public was really longing for. They advertised Friday's Feast for Two at $20 - 22 dollars but we had to ask for it, those menus were behind the desk? When l asked about it it the waiter said he thought that special was over, l replied that we just saw the ad on tv and that's what brought us in! He did not seem pleased and said if people didn't ask about it then they didn't promote it??? WHAT???

This was beyond a huge disappointment. We went in today with our kids. It took 20min for our waiter to take our order. Then another 20 minutes for our food to arrive. This is suppose to be a parmesan crusted chicken BREAST. It also didn't come with both the sides ordered. We ordered 2 of these plates. This is how they came out. It's smaller then a half chicken breast. For $15? Then we also ordered a pecan crusted chicken salad. The salad came out gross and brown and our chicken was completely burnt. We left without eating our lunch and 2 very upset children & 2 very disappointed adults.

Our first experience here was wonderful! Great service, good deals on food and drinks, couldn't have complained. We loved it so much we wanted to come back (that's the goal right?) Only this time we were not so lucky. We walked in, saw there was open seating in a very packed bar area. All tall tables with stools available but I'm short so I prefer sitting at a table. We waiting MORE THAN 5 minutes to be greeted or acknowledged but we never were... I work in a restaurant myself, have for years so I get sometimes you are busy. I would be less upset if I had seen more than 5 people seated in the dining area separate from the bar. After asking for the third time "What would you like to do?" I finally told my boyfriend I would like to go somewhere that will seat me at a table. The Chili's across the street was delightful that night... Super sad I didn't get my Fridays ribs that night but how could I with no one there to seat me?

This Fridays used to be the best around. My last visit, we waited 15 minutes to get our drinks. We ordered soup, salad, chicken fingers, and fried fish. The soup came out 20 mins after we ordered. It came out ice cold, the cheese on top wasn't even melted. We sent it back and the manager came over and asked why. Then said the kitchen was very busy because they had a big rush...there were literally 10 other people there in the restaurant. I heard the table beside us complain as well. The remainder of the food came out 40 mins after we arrived. It was hot at least but the quality was not there. I won't be going back. The manager did take the soup off the bill and offered us free dessert, which was fine however we were so annoyed about the poor service and less than average food, it didnt helped change my mind about posting this.

I truly appreciate these employees! Tremaine is an excellent server! My son and I have had the pleasure of being served by him every time we've been to this location! He is such a great guy and is so nice to my son! I couldn't be more grateful for such a wonderful server! The food has never been a let down either! Finally tried something different and was not let down!
