There’s an older gentlemen there who is so great, he always greets me every morning when I go in. I’m sad I haven’t seen the older woman with the dirty blonde hair as she was also really sweet. The early morning staff that I’ve interacted with (5am-7:30am) are always super nice. Tonight’s pair of guys 3/1/2023 were not helpful to my partner. It is 8:30 pm on a Wednesday night, this location closes at 11 am. All ice cream was put away. When he went to ask about the double dipped nectar soda, the man looked at the menu then back at him and said, “a what?” And looked at his coworker “have you made that?” To which he shook his head and they simply stared at him and once he asked if he could get a banana split he replied “I sold the last banana earlier today, all I can make is a vanilla milkshake.” It wouldn’t have been a big deal if he simply said “oh, I’m not quite sure how to make that” instead of making my boyfriend feel stupid for asking for something on the menu. It’s on your menu, I never am able to get a decent item from here that isn’t already packaged. Last time I got a milkshake the younger man gave me a 2 inch block of ‘fudge’ that made me feel sick, and another time I got a ice cream with hot caramel that was dripping off the sides when he handed it to me. It’s just frustrating when it’s a bit late and you want some ice cream and see UDF is open, and then get there and no ice cream is out and then you are made to feel stupid for asking something that’s clearly on the menu. No other UDF runs like this other than the one on Eastgate drive. There’s already limited options in the area, these two locations make that none.

I started going here when we moved to this area back in the spring. I found that signing up for their rewards card and downloading the UDF app is really the best. You can lock in fuel prices if they increase, you automatically get a 3 cent discount on their gas just by being a Rewards member, and your purchases can increase the discount. They also have regular specials and one-day freebies on the app! I have gotten the freebies on a regular basis! Also , the staff at this location have been friendly and helpful.
