Pasta Mia

Used to ride my bike here 20+ years ago for slices of pizza and decided to visit for a nice family lunch. Great environment and attentive staff but food took an hour to arrive. Catering backup was the issue but restaurant was less than half full and food didn’t arrive at the same time for our group. Server was apologetic and kind but experience could have been better. We’ll still be back at some point to try again as you gotta give them benefit of the doubt. Long time standing business in town is nice to see. Gluten free crust was great and pastas were enjoyed. Big menu and outdoor seating area looked nice.

I don't know what happened. This was the best place to get pizza. Been ordering from them for 8 years. Never had a problem. Ordered a large extra thin crust pizza and it was very thick. I called and he told me to take a pick and send it to him and he would call me right back. Sent the pic and 1 half hour later I called him. He never returned my call. He was rude and said that that is as thin as they come. Not true...on their menu it has extra thin...that is what we have been ordering for years... He was just nasty... perhaps he was having a bad day, regardless, for the price of one pizza he lost a good customer. Pizza places are all around, shouldn't be to hard to find a place that appreciates it's customers.

Delicious food (the meat lasagna & tomato basil pizza) and friendly staff! Only reason I rated it four stars instead of five is because it is super LOUD in the restaurant. I went on a Friday night and the place was packed and live music was starting. I was at a tiny table and had to shout to hear the person across from me. I'd definitely try this place again, maybe during the middle of the week when it's slower, but personally it was much too loud to enjoy on a Friday night.

The food was good. We had the loaded fries, Krab mac n cheese, and pizza. My least favorite was the pizza. There are much better pizza spots nearby. Our server was quick and nice. The coffee was cold and one of the cups had lipstick. Even with those two things, I would still give it 4 stars. But then this happened. There was a mistake on our fries and in the middle of us eating them, not complaining at all as they were good, another young woman came up with our correct order of fries and proceeded to yank away the incorrect fries without asking how we felt. We were literally reaching to get more as she took them away and set the correct ones down. This was completely unnecessary and rude. They are also are not following covid guidelines closely.

The food was good but the wait staff we had was very slow and ignored us most of the time we were there. feb 29 I ordered chicken alfreado and got shrimp I told the guy behind the counter and he looked confused.i also asked for extra sauce but got none it was soupy and not thick with the army of cooks you think that the order would be right especially for the price

Usually do carry out and pizza only. Decided to dine in and try it out with the wife. Immediately after walking in, I was greeted by the owner and realized we both grew up in Elmwood Park. This was cool chatting about the old neighborhood for a little. We sat down and our waitress was awesome and the service was outstanding. I believe her name was Natalie but I cant remember. We ordered some drinks, appetizers and a pizza. Pizza margherita, calamari fritti, soup/salad, linguine di pesce, and shrimp scampi. All of this food was amazing. The shrimp scampi could of used a couple more pieces of shrimp. Otherwise we had a great meal with great service. I definitely recommend and it was very affordable.
