Memphis Mojo Cafe

I completely understand why the smoked cheeseburger is award winning…it’s great!!! This was my first time here and I really enjoyed my food. I spent about $13+tip on a meal that included fries and a drink. The burger was cheesy, had a lot of flavor, loved the smokiness, juicy and the bun was buttery. The fries were seasoned well. The food came out really fast. Giving it 4 stars because they are out of quite a few menu options, main soda were missing and the location could use some straightening up.

Very refreshing to find a burger and sandwich diner where the food has some defined perspective in flavor. They burger just didn’t taste like everyone else’s burger but had its own unique flavor. The catfish sandwich had a slight spicy zing I was surprised about. Looking forward to trying some their other selections.

I door dash Memphis Mojo Cafe on Friday 06/10/2022. I had the smoked cheeseburger and seasoned fries. The seasoning on the fries had the right balance, so that it wasn't too much. When you take a bite out of the smoked cheeseburger you can just immediately taste the smokenes of everything from the patty, the cheese, and the bacon.

Had to try the Mojo Fries and was recommended the Smoke Burger by the cashier. I just have to say whoever came up with the idea for Bacon Chorizo Gravy should get an award if they haven't already. Service was decent, place has a homey, chill vibe and was nice and tidy. Whole meal was terrific, the absolute best Fries ever! My only complaint is although I specifically asked for no onions they were added anyways. Since they are caramelized I can handle that, occasionally. But I feel like that could be a little more serious to someone with food allergies. Great little spot for a lunch.
