They serve you here! Also, an amazing assortment of hot sauces on the table for you. Food came out FAST. My fish tacos were THICK & perfectly cooked & flavored. The fries were a little under salted but asides from that - Great place to go! Best del taco I've ever been to.

Always a treat! Best Del Taco ever! Still owned by the original founder who keeps an upgraded menu compared to corporate DTs. Besides the original guy who may be bussing your table you never know what famous people you'll bump into here on your way to Vegas. Enjoy!

Excellent service and the food quality is much better than the other Del Tacos. Which if you know the history this store is owned independently of the other franchises by the original founders. The spicy chicken burrito is my favorite and they have a few great menu items that the other franchises don’t like the Barstow taco, street tacos, tostada, and taco burger.

Dream come True! Visiting one of the OG Del Taco restaurants was truly a new core memory for me. Food? better. Coke machine? Pebble ice! Bathrooms? Larger. Staff? cuter. Maybe I’m just a fan boy but this was my most favorite Del visit ever.
They have the original menu which was really cool to see. Food just tasted more authentic and made in house.
My wife and I both got souvenir shirts and the staff even let my wife try it on before she bought to make sure it would fit her.

This is one of the BEST Del Taco's around. They make all their tacos like it's new release time. Generous meat, lettuce, and a nice tomato slice. <I bet they give lots of cheese too, but I can't do dairy>
Also, they have never messed up my order. Giving me cheese when I request none. Every time I ask for well-done fries, I get expertly cooked crispy fries.

One of the original Del Tacos. Must stop if you're in Barstow. The Barstow Taco (crunchy beef taco) is a must get. Great atmosphere.

One of the original del tacos. Kind of cool to be there and the menu is very different. The tacos come with a slice of tomato on top, not chopped tomatoes. There are some things that are on menus and other places that they don't have and vice versa. The history is kind of cool. You can even get a t-shirt saying it's one of the first del tacos.

I have been to many Del Taco restaurants, but this was the first one that I saw had semi truck parking.
The Del taco is now called the Barstow Taco and it is OUTSTANDING!!

Crew is friendly, everyone who was touching food had gloves on, the store was clean inside and out and the bathrooms too.
Food was hot as well.

The first Del Taco restaurant of Barstow, CA ever built is definitely a great place to drive through or eat inside. The place is still owned and run by the original owners who created Del taco franchise and they have a special menu which is the original menu from when Del taco was started. We were driving back from Vegas and stopped by. Food was clean and there were more servers than your ordinary Del Taco or fast food restaurant. They were also very nice.
Definitely try this place if you’re in the area.
