The staff here is always pleasant, and the food is always delicious. Great selection of seafood and American classics juxtaposed with innovation and daily specials. Very clean, the atmosphere is relaxed. I've never been disappointed eating here, whether dining in or doing takeout.

The food was great and the place was very quiet--no loud music to disrupt conversation. I went with a friend and we spent about three hours enjoying the chance to catch up with each other. No one gave us even a hint of needing to hurry and leave. It was just the right spot for us. The salmon was delicious!

My review is solely based on my experiences during take out on Mother’s Day. This was my first time ever ordering from Billy’s. I ordered a family deal (Chicken Parm). Surprisingly, the cost ($40) did not include pasta, bread, or salad which had to be purchased separately. The chicken was excellent, the penne and sauce nothing special, salad and bread were both good. I placed my order the Friday evening before Mother’s Day with a pick up time of 5:15 pm that Sunday. My credit card number was taken at the time of order, however, the person I spoke with couldn’t give me an accurate cost at that time. This wasn’t a huge deal but kind of baffling. When I arrived Sunday to pick up my food there was a line of cars in the parking lot. The door to the restaurant was open but it wasn’t communicated (to me at least) whether to go inside or call. I decided to sit and wait in my car but happened to catch the attention of the person in the next car over who said she called but had a lot of difficulty getting through. Around the same time I saw other cars who pulled in after me walk into the restaurant. I chose to walk into the restaurant. I truly believe the two women attempting to organize the orders, running food out to cars, answering the phones, etc. did the best they could but it was obvious they were completely in over their heads. Over the next hour I spent waiting for my food (I will get to this in a second) the phone NEVER stopped ringing. This next part is disappointing. Of the at least 30 order slips on the table mine could not be found. Nobody said my food hadn’t been made. Had this been communicated I probably would have left but instead I heard one of the women ask the people in the back to prepare my meal. My order slip was later discovered taped above the computer on the cabinet. I sat there for the next hour and fifteen minutes waiting, waiting, waiting. During this time other customers came back in looking for missing items. It was extremely hectic when I finally received my food. I was told my card was on file and they would bill me later. I said okay and left, still without any idea what the final cost was going to be (it came out to around $60). I don’t believe I was given any sort of discount for my being inconvenienced, but I also didn’t ask. I came home expecting to eat, to find it written on the tray that I had to heat the chicken up for an additional 10 minutes in the oven. Around 7:00 we finally ate. ———— I don’t blame the front of house staff, or the cooks, or managers. It is what it is. In hindsight, I’m sure they tried their best. An extra person out front would have been extremely helpful and maybe next time set a deadline for ordering.. particularly on special event days. I did find the food to be substantially more expensive than other area restaurants who have also adopted the “family style” dinners. The only item included in this family deal was the chicken. Overall, I did not have a good experience and am unlikely to try Billy’s again.

We did curbside pickup for our son’s birthday last night. Steak frites for all. A great and delicious option if you need curbside pickup in Barrington during these difficult times. Looking forward to being able to also experience the relaxing and (family) friendly restaurant ambiance again soon.

I met local friends here on my first visit and fell in love with the place. The food is great and the menu is varied enough to have something for everyone. Second time around I stopped on my way to the Cape with friends and the Billy's lived up to the hype I had told them. I look forward to my next chance to stop in when I'm in the area.

Fantastic food and a nice cozy location away from traffic. We love to go here for an early dinner. Love the burgers and they have wonderful specials with delicious risotto's.

Food was good for two of us . So-so for the other two. Poor service. Took close to an hour to get our food. Saw our server once during that time. Finally had to go to the hostess to get a status on our food. Not likely to go back anytime soon.

I ordered not knowing what to expect. I NEVER leave reviews, and I’m extremely picky when it comes to pasta and especially sauce but my chicken parm was amazing!!! The sauce was perfect. I’m a foodie and I’m pleasantly impressed.
