Northeast Pizza

NOTE: UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT Great service from co-owner's son, Jeff. They don't usually have table service, but offered when they saw me come in with my walker. Split a delicious large pizza with my new friend, Al: *mine - half veggie (eggplant, mushrooms, onions green peppers, spinach, broccoli & black olives) was easily 1.5" thick! *his - half taco pizza (seasoned beef, tomato, onion, corn chips, lettuce, with salsa & sour cream on side). We then each took 3 HUGE pieces baklava home for later. Mine for mom, aunt & myself. So good!

Placed an order at 2:30 for a small cheese pizza. Expected to pay a little more than $3. When it came to $5 and change I said I read on the website that A small cheese pizza was $2.99 and the cashier said that the special was before 2pm and I needed to "get here earlier next time" if I'm not mistaken, this screenshot proves the website says from 11pm-4pm.

Ordered food from here many times. Usually pretty good. Tonight we had a cheeseburger grinder that was good, but my son & his Dad weren't too impressed with the stuffed shell dinner. Complaints were that it was overcooked, shells were hard & cheese was tasteless. Portions are plentiful though. My 2 youngest daughters split a chicken tender meal that came with fries that they both liked. Pizza is usually good. They have a special between 11-4 on weekdays where you can order a small cheese for just $2.99! Whenever we've ordered one of these they've been fresh & delicious. I see people complaining on here about the wait for delivery. If you want or need your order faster, go pick it up instead. It's a pretty basic concept...lol!😏 Unless of course you can't or don't want to drive. (Update: I'd like to add that staff here admitted to purposely leaving their business phone off the hook during busy times, such as lunch hour rush, because they are unable to keep up with all of the orders! We tried calling several times to order, and had to end up ordering in person, because we got a constant busy signal for almost 30 mins! I asked whether they had an issue with their phone lines, but the young lady explained that when they have too many orders, they simply take the phone off the hook, which prevents customers from placing orders, so they're actually voluntarily losing business by doing this! Very unprofessional! I'm not sure which surprised me more, to learn that they do this, or the fact that she (an employee) admitted to doing this often, as if it was not a big deal. We had hoped to have our pizza ready upon arrival, but because we couldn't get through on the phone, we had to wait to order in person, then wait even longer for them to prepare our food. Major inconvenience! Bad for business. You should care more about your customers. I hope management reads this!!! Unacceptable in my opinion. I lowered my rating because of this.)
