Excellent food! All ingredients and meats are from local farms whenever possible. Casual atmosphere, good beer (mostly local breweries) and welcoming and friendly staff. Some of the menu prices are higher than others in the area, but again all local organic ingredients. Definitely worth the cost for the gourmet level food that you receive. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to try something you wont find without a long drive ...

The food here is spectacular. The process seemed a little high, but they use all local produce and even label where it comes from. My Beer Cheese Bacon burger was a perfect medium-rare and oozed with flavor. It also came with a small mountain of crispy French fries. The drinks were tasty and very unique, and there was an interesting selection of imported beers. I ended up ordering a Eulogy and thoroughly enjoyed it. I do wish that the parking area had some more lighting, not for safety reasons, but because I hadn't even noticed that the pub had re-opened. I hope word gets out and to see the place busier. I personally cannot wait to visit again!

It's pricey for what you get. The Poutine was good, however the gravy was made with an IPA that made it taste almost sour. The Mac & Cheese was not whisked fully and had almost no taste of cheese. Added about 2 teaspoons of salt, which brought out the flavors greatly. The drink menu is alright with average price of a cocktail at $10-11. The price of the Poutine was $14, Mac & Cheese $10, Beer Bacon Burger $18. Pricey for the area, but for grass fed local sourced was good. We will most likely try it again.

This place is so good! Some friends and I went for their Harry Potter themed dinner on Halloween, and the staff and chef really went above and beyond. The restaurant was decorated so well (creatively, not tacky), and the menu items including cocktails were all HP themed. But, the most important part: the food was AMAZING. The restaurant has a new head chef, and she is so talented and nice (we got to meet her)! The creamy mushroom soup was the best thing I've tasted in a while, my burger was fresh and cooked perfectly, and my friends' chicken fell off the bone! If you're in the Barre area, don't sleep on this place! Amazing food, great service - it's SO worth checking out. We will be back again!

Staff was pleasant, polite and knowledgeable. I got the burger of the day and was impressed with its blend of bold and subtle flavors. The cheddar curd on this burger with the chipotle sauce was perfect. It really complemented the seasoned meat in the burger. The hand cut fries where a home run as well. The beer the waitress recommended was light and refreshing, exactly what I asked for. Hats off to the chef. This was one of the best burgers I have ever had. Lastly I just wanted to say Thank you for a great lunch.

Went in on a Thursday evening, they were not busy. Waited a half an hour for the Hummus appetizer. Then waited another half an hour for our main course, which is a shame because the food was good. Not sure why the Beef Pot Pie was so spicy it made my nose run... It's a warm and inviting atmosphere but definitely not a pub atmosphere. Menu is expensive. We tried going four different times since they first opened, but won't be going back unfortunately. I had high hopes for the new place in town.

We were there for the 1st Brunch so things were a bit disorganized. Food was way better than average. Noticed the quality right away with my excellent breakfast sandwich. The English muffin was SO GOOD! From a local bakery. Only reason for 4 stars is the lack of coffee drinks, like lattes , specially with a Brunch. Lots of local meats & produce means better quality, healthier and hopefully, less expensive in the long run.
