RIP Bay Cafe. Welcome Raw Bar. No more sandy beach bar - the space has been transformed into a chic dining spot. But still has plenty of outdoor seating for a casual hang out.
There’s plenty of bars (4) serving up tasty cocktails. The summer fizz was perfectly light and refreshing on a summer evening.
The food was tasty. Pricy but tasty ... the halloumi cheese and crab was outstanding. The duck grits were delish too. Rockfish tacos had a little too much seasoning on the fish but we’re good. Same goes for the fries. Too much seasoning
The space is new - so it seemed that the servers were still Learning the menu and POS.
Parking is not free. $10... and not even valet.
Great views and atmosphere - I am sure they will overcome the early growing pains and will become more consistent and a mainstay
Very nice. The main entrance was a bit difficult to locate. The directions on Google maps took us to the back door. However, the food was excellent, the waiter was also very nice and the drinks were sublime. Would definitely go again.
I was blown away by the service at this restaurant. Not only were the views of the water incredible, but the Manager Ryann and our server Vince were such incredible people. We loved chatting with them and felt so loved the entire time we were there. I would recommend this hidden gem to anyone in the Baltimore area!!
Had the duck confit biscuits and gravy today. The gravy was a little lacking but the dish was overall good. Their shrimp and grits is my favorite!
Amazing drinks and beautiful views. I highly recommend the Crab Roll - it is perfectly flavored. The service was great, even the manager (Joey) was friendly and came to check on our table. I would come here for any occasion.
The scenery was great my server not so great but the gentleman who brought my food out to me I gave him the tip cuz he got me some straws some napkins cocktail sauce and he kept checking on us to make sure we was good I I'll server did not
Raw Bar is AWESOME!!! This new spot had a great atmosphere with beautiful water views from every table, inside and out. Really nice space. The staff were friendly and receptive. They have multiple bar areas with great drink selections. The food was all delicious. The Brussels sprouts were yummy, the oysters from the Raw Bar were very fresh. I loved the Lobster Roll!!! This is a great place for a nice dinner out, drinks with friends or a lazy afternoon by the water. Hope to be back here soon.

A huge and overdue shout out to Raw Bar in Canton! We held our engagement party (that turned into a “pop up wedding”) there on Sept 7. From the first visit to plan the event, we were impressed with the knowledge, enthusiasm, experience and professionalism of Niki, their on-site event planner. She walked us through all of our options and easily grasped the vision we had for our wedding. She provided floor plan ideas, suggestions for decorating and even arranged for servers to pass our brought-in desserts.
The food choices were diverse and plentiful and we were blown away by the quality of the food at our tasting. Our event was for 120 people, many of whom were originally from the Baltimore area (some of whom had moved away), so the crab cakes had to be top notch. And they were! All of our guests agreed the crab cakes were they best they’ve had in Baltimore - and these folks had sampled them from all over!
The service on the night of the event was impeccable, and the event space was beautiful. The plantings, the lighting and the entire waterfront setting was perfection.
We have been back for several meals since and we highly recommend Raw Bar for your large event, waterfront dinner, or happy hour.
Really great customer service, can't remember our server's name, but he was really attentive and was great the entire t8me... Then the views, right by the water, makes the atmosphere that much better... Will definitely recommend
Where do I begin!!! From the moment you enter you are embraced by the friendly and welcoming staff. There are areas for everyone’s different interests. Bar atmosphere? Check! Romantic dining atmosphere? Check! An area just to relax along the calming waterfront access? Check! The service was excellent and quick and the food was amazing. The lobster roll sandwiches are a must as well as the crab cake! Enjoyed everything! Need to visit again. Great place to go with friends after work for drinks and appetizers or for couple dinner! Prices are very reasonable. Enjoy!
